Round 2 GAGR TOTW

1 Tom Lambert (WAR) - 2 TOTW selections
2 Alex Mafi (REB) - 1
3 Rhys van Nek (BRU) -
4 Nick Frost (BRU) - 2
5 Jed Holloway (WAR) - 1
6 Rob Valetini (BRU) - 2
7 Fraser McReight (RED) - 1
8 Langi Gleeson (WAR) - 1
9 Ryan Lonergan (BRU) - 2
10 Carter Gordon (REB) - 2
11 Filipo Daugunu (RED) - 1
12 Lalakai Foketi (WAR) - 1
13 Josh Flook (RED) - 1
14 Mark Nawaqanitawase (WAR) - 1
15 Jordan Petaia (RED) - 1

We had a tie for hooker with Lonergan getting same votes as Mafi. My tie breaker was 'independent votes'. So basically discounter any Mafi selections by Mafi fans and any Lonergan selections by Brumby fans.

Not by reckoning. Maybe by the end of the year but more likely the end of next year - arrived at the rebels at the end of 2019, was still in SA in 2018 playing Currie cup, not sure about the in between.

He arrived in Nov 2019; he will fall under the 5-year qualification rule so not qualified until November 2024

The last cut-off for a player to represent another country under the 3 year rule was Dec 2021, all players since that date have to qualify through 5 year residency. If you weren't capped by Dec 2021 then you must meet the 5 year threshold.

Didn’t see Force game but Stewart must have played well to beat Illy from the Rebels? JOC (James O'Connor) did spark the backline when he came on but surely you couldn’t go past the flying blonde mullet?

Ili isn't eligible, but he did put in the best No 12 performance of the weekend. To my eyes, Stewart was no better nor worse than he always is, but not TOTW material.

The ineligible players who were better, were Hardwick and Ili at the Rebels. O'Connor was immense when he came on for half a game.
