Great to see such variations in sides. I wish we could get a couple of Eddie's teams in here. From a Reds point of view, I think Harry Wilson is having a great year but, rightfully, is having trouble making the team. There are the makings of a very good squad here.

How hard is it for people to follow the guidelines?
Post your team and by all means explain any selections as you see fit.
Don't critique others' selections - do that on a match thread if you must.
I will delete any posts vaguely in this category.

To be fair I think BR just wants to preserve the integrity of the Team of the Week and make sure supporter bias doesn’t elevate any unworthy players from the Reds, Tahs, Rebels or Force into the TOTW selections.

Jason Little (69)
1. Gibbon
2. Lonergan
3. Van Nek
4. Frost
5. Neville
6. Valetini
7. Wilkin
8. Gleeson
9. Lonergan
10. Gordon
11. Toole
12. Sapsford*
13. Flook
14. Nawaqanitawase
15. Wright

* No 12 is pretty sparse atm and apart from Stacey Ili, not really any standouts. The centre pairing of the Brumbies was solid and contributed well to the win. Not sure if Tua is Wallaby eligible, but Sapsford apparently is through family. Ollie seemed to play mostly at 12 when Tua went off.

I believe Sapsford is 7's capped for NZ, making him ineligible. It's a little unclear as he has only played in non world series events, but it was for the All Black 7's against the Australian 7's, so it looks like a cap game on the face of it.

I thought that’s why the brumbies signed him because he was wallabies eligible through his grandmother. I don’t recall him ever playing 7’s for the AB’s

I can't speak to the decision making at the Brumbies but this is the team naming for the trans tasman tournament he played in:

I do believe he has family eligibility via his Mother so if he serves the stand down period he will eventually be eligible for Australia (assuming the 7's games were capped).

It’s wiki so may not be accurate but only says ‘warm up’ matches

"warm up" as in warm up for the Olympics, in the same way a 15's side would book in a test before the world cup. I don't know the specifics for 7's but in 15's when one capped side plays another it's a cap game, regardless of where the test sits in relation to other competitions.

Alright watched all the games live so I'll give this a go. Really struggled with the forwards:

1. Gibbon
2. Vailanu
3. Nonggorr
4. Frost
5. Neville
6. Valetini
7. Wilkin (OM Callan)
8. Gleeson

9. Lonergan
10. Gordon
11. Toole
12. Stewart (looked good before moving to 10 and looking really not good)
13. Flook
14. Daugunu (Can I do this? don't want to give it to MarkyMark for throwing that pass).
15. Wright
