Are you a complete idiot posting miss informed information on a public website about INJURIES and status of schoolboys currently on tour, one phone call confirms lewis holland is fine, is still on tour and that rothschild is a complete jerk

bit harsh there buddy...
in any case, good win by the boys over a reportedly fired up and physical local team.

I have a text message from a friend over there and he said the same thing as Rothschild. I hope the lad is fine but my information suggests he was injured.

Sincere apologies if I have caused any grief however someone at the game gave me that information and I had no cause to doubt their mail. If you read what I said it says'word thru'. It was not of my own making.
I did not think their information would be so wrong.
Again - sincere apologies.

I am going to buy into this little bruhaha. I usually only post very sparingly.
I have 2 contacts on tour with the boys and BOTH told me that Lewis was injured so Rothchild's comments certainly do seem to be as a messenger and not an instigator. maybe the source of the scandal should be probed. Nothing short of a full judicial enquiry I say.

Australian Schoolboys defeat Waikato Harlequins U19
September 29, 2010 - 3:40pm
Story by: ARU

The Australian Schools have registered a solid mid-week performance while on tour
The Australian Schoolboys have continued their winning ways with a 27-7 defeat of New Zealand’s Waikato Harlequins Under 19 in their tour match at St Paul’s Collegiate in Hamilton on Wednesday.

The Pat Langtry-coached Australians scored three-tries-to-one to extend their unbeaten streak to five matches this season.

King’s School flyhalf Ed Wylie had a perfect outing with the boot, nailing three conversions and two penalties for the match.

A try to Brisbane State High School winger Walter Petaia opened the scoring for the Australian Schoolboys before Marist College forward Tom Cusack crashed over in the corner to make it 12-0.

The visitors went to the break with a handy 17-0 lead and they carried their dominant form into the second half where a further try to Southport School winger Lindsay Crook sealed the match before a defensive lapse saw Waikato hit back in the final minutes with a try to No.8 Peke Manawati.

The Schoolboys will play a Test against Tongan Schools on Saturday before rounding out their tour with a highly-anticipated Test against New Zealand Schools on 6 October in Otago.

AUSTRALIAN SCHOOLS 27 (Walter Petaia, Tom Cusack, Lindsay Crook tries; Ed Wylie 3 con, 2 pen) bt WAIKATOHARLEQUINS UNDER 19s 7 (Peke Manawati try; Jesse Martin conversion) at St Paul’s Collegiate, Hamilton NZ.

Lewis younger brother is playing for Brumbies at 16 National and her mum is with him. I'll have a word her tommorrow and see how's Lewis.

Great news. Now, I have been reliably informed, so please no vitriolic emails, PM's, calls to the coach or management or posts if it turns out to be wrong information, that Foxsport 3 will be showing the test next Wednesday between Australia Schools and NZ Schools LIVE. My mail say 09:30 and that seems right as the game is at 11:45 NZ time in Dunedin.

Thank you for your unmittigated vitriole.
I have checked with my contacts and Lewis Holland IS injured. Of that there is no doubt otherwise the entire team is being fed a well concocted lie.
Apparently he could hardly lift his arm above waist height after the game so before you come on here and abuse me of misinformation I might suggest that the people feeding you information might for some reason be 'mothering' it so as to dilute the seriousness of the injury.
It's not as if I am unjustifiably bagging the lad as has been done to players in the past, I am only reporting the feedback from the front line. Lewis is a very good player and the team could ill afford his inactivness. I hope he recovers soon and compete in the final two games.

First and last warning. No more posts like this and I don't give a stuff if the information was right of wrong. I have given wrong information myself in good faith and if somebody gives information you are sure is wrong then respond in a more civilised manner.

That is all.

Clint Dale is a halfback so a little confusing as to why they are calling him in , although he is a very smart footballer so i don't know what they have in mind.

Maybe he was just the next most deserving and they will play some people out of position?

What do you mean? Was just discussing why they brought in a halfback to cover a fullback (Keary) ?

Apparently Dale can play 9, 10 and 15 but that wasn't the point of our comments. We were sarcastically referring to the aceribic and determined comments earlier that Holland was not injured when in fact he is.
