Attention EVERY Aussie in Sydney - Here's the ref for the 3rd Test so be nice to this man if you see him.

He looks a very handsome man, and a very fair referee.

Il a l'air d'un homme très beau, et un arbitre très juste.

Some papers seem to suggest that McCalman had strong Soup form - haven't seen any Force matches really - is that a fair assessment?

I would agree - he has been in good form in a losing side. Gill is unlucky, but he is young and still on an upward trajectory in terms of impact. Two runs in two tests and a little bit of legend for that lineout is a good haul.

Didn't we run out backs recently? I seem to remember something about Hooper at 12 - what, a fortnight ago? I guess not playing Barnes gives you an extra reserve.

George Smith probably can't believe his luck, he is going to have a free reign at the breakdown I think. The stage is set for a Smith masterclass to win the Aussies the series, still in disbelief at the Lions team can't see anywhere they can threaten the Australians given how easily they've dealt with the Welsh Warrenball plan before.

Is this a leaked team or the official team? I thought Deans was going to name the test 23 tomorrow.
Can't believe MMM can't get a gig ahead of Douglas, Simmons & McCalman he fucking shits on all 3 of those blokes.
I'm fucking pissed about this honestly.

This bench is killing me.

Who the fuck replaces AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) if he can't make the full 80?

On another note I reckon whichever broadcaster paid a bucket for the rights in Ireland has just shat something unclassifiable.

Geez not the 2 backs on the bench again, if our injuries play out like they did in Brisbane then we might as well kiss good bye to this series.

This is scary, but I think Tomane goes to 13, JOC (James O'Connor) goes to 11, Beale goes to 10 and Mogg comes on at 15. Far too much shuffling for my liking. Unless Deans wants to put Hooper on at 13.

AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) is indestructible.

Most underrated player in world rugby.

I don't think he's underrated at all. I'm watching the british broadcasts and they are giving him all the credit he deserves and talking about how he has been the rock of the aussie attack for the past 6 years.

That said he has 'destructed' the last 2 games, luckily after 75minutes, so it's a bloody gamble not to have a trained 13 on the bench.

Has Tomane played 13 in super rugby? I haven't seen him there. It's the hardest position technically to defend in so Im not happy if we are talking schoolboy experience here.

I don't see JOC (James O'Connor) being shifted so if it is Tomane, then Mogg would just go to the wing I guess (luckily not norths wing!) - still out of position!

6:2 split. WTF?

If you were going to do it why not pick players who can make an impact? Would have made more ense with Kimlin and MMM instead of those two.
This. Kimlin could have covered both Simmons and McCalman allowing Horne to come onto the bench as the third back reserve.
It is a little risky with Smith starting but we all know he will probably go the distance, as will Mowen, Horwill and Douglas.
If a second rower does go down then an in form Kimlin(or Madness) is a better and more dynamic replacement than Simmons, who has shown he is a little out of his depth in this series so far.

Yeah I'm pretty certain I've seen him there before. My concern about Mogg at 11 is that he'd be up against Bowe and possibly North, and I haven't seen enough of him in defence to be sure he could handle that.

Just trying to remember. Did the welsh field the Roberts/Davies combo last year when they came out here or was one of them injured?
