This weekend Irae Simone captained the side at 12, with Newsome at fullback, Rob Simmons at lock, Caleb Timu in the backrow and soon to be Folau Fainga'a at hooker. and they played Perpignan with Jake McIntyre.

Hope he goes well. Pretty exciting story for a kid from Ipswich to go play and live in Toulouse at age 21, win some championships, then hopefully become an integral part of the Les Bleus, all while perfecting his french.

I have no issue with Meafou. It’s more annoying to see than wishing he doesn’t succeed. He seems to have been very clear in his desire to play for France.
