That would be pretty handy wouldn’t it.
Not sure if there’s any standout hookers in U20s etc at the moment who would warrant a contract instead?

Pollard and Lonergan were recent U20 hookers - at brumbies. Winchester (rocky) is young and at force. Nasser and Vannek were recent front rowers - kinda hookers, kinda props - theyve got contracts also.

I think just about every 19-21 yr old have been covered and unfortunately without an 2020 and 2021 U20 teams, it will be more difficult to identify more.

Would be a good pick up for any of the Aussie teams, with the possible exception of the Brumbies. Who has cash to spend might be an issue though.

The commentators just said in the Lyon/Toulouse game that Rodda is coming back to Australia at the end of their season. Not sure if that was common knowledge, I didn't know it.

Also as an aside, he's playing against a second row of Arnold & Arnold who are together for the first time for Toulouse (with Meafou on the bench). I'm very impressed with both Arnolds..... or one of them, can't really tell tbh

Can't see him heading back to the Reds in a hurry. My guess is NSW.

Yeah I think him ending up at the Tah's would be the best thing for Australian Rugby. They should throw the bank at him as he's a guy you can build a team around. With their front row looking good and plenty of talent in the back row I think a lock, or two, plus time will go a long way towards improvement for them.

Didn't Johnson say that Sitaleki Timani was on his way home? Might be a short term option for the tahs (18mths or so). He is 34.

I'd take a 34 year old Timani over the two kiwi journeyman who are there now

OK, so these Kiwis are in NSW. Personally I think this sort of flexibility is necessary if a fully fledged TT is to happen.

What is the thinking behind the “journeyman” perjoritive?
