Out with injury for at least two months which is why I forgot him! Watching stade français and he hasn’t featured for a while, Latu is there and not making much contribution but PAE is carving it up. Looks bigger than ever and enjoying his rugby.
On that note: watched Simmons give away 3 classic penalties yesterday. Kepu looks well past it, Coleman yet to impress over there. Phipps kicked two out on the full. Louis Lyangh is coming along very nicely, looks like he’s got good rugby smarts. Reads play in défense very well.
Rory Arnold is well received, I was surprised with how high they rated Richie as well. Haven’t seen much of Skelton & Rodda.

He's not the one coming here though, it's his younger brother. Would be nice to pick him up to though.
You'd imagine Louis would need to make a decision to play in Australia within the next two years otherwise he'll end up getting capped for England.
Would be interesting to know which team he wants to play for more. He's played England under 18s and 19s and grown up there but his Dad is a Wallaby legend.
Career wise it wouldn't really make sense turning down playing for England (assuming the opportunity arose) but also staying there to play. His earning potential once he's an international player would be higher.

Well our current set of rules allows the coach to select two overseas based players regardless of the number of caps they have so there is nothing stopping Lynagh being selected.
The reality though is no one is going to pick an uncapped youngster playing overseas though.
Have Wales picked any uncapped players playing outside of Wales? It's a bit different for them as well given that player might be playing in the same comp or in the UK Premiership so they are easier to follow and could attend camp for the same periods etc.

Interesting that the NRL are trying to lure he whose name is not allowed to be mentioned back via the Dragons. I couldn’t really find anywhere else relevant to post this so here will do.
EDIT: actually it would be worthwhile to add an NRL/league-in-general team to the analysis above. Probably not many tight five contenders but the rest would be up there

I think Wales do it all the time as does Scotland no? Louis Rees Zammit springs to mind, plays for Gloucester yet debuted for Wales recently. I think Scotland just picked up someone like that too. Cameron Redpath, played for England u20s (he was even selected in England's senior tour of SA but didn't get capped), plays for Bath and will be capped for Scotland this Six Nations.
