Wyatt Crockett is in doubt for 1st Bledisloe test.
If gone this is a loss because he is dynamic around the park and the RC is being reffed under the new scrum laws reducing the hit (which is often where he has trouble)

Shame - he was going to be a key litmus test for the generation of tall props that have sprung up for lineout lifting

Two weeks until kickoff and you're pissing around over quotes mangled by a journo from a player who would just like to get to training and stop talking into an iPhone to a dickhead.

No wonder rugby is so fucked here.

1 Robinson
2 Moore
3 Kepu
4 Douglas
5 Horwill
6 Fardy
7 Gill
8 Mowen (c)
9 Genia
10 Cooper
11 Cummins
12 Lilo
13 AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper)
14 Folau
15 Mogg

16 TPN
17 Sio
18 Slipper
19 Pyle
20 Hooper
21 White
22 To'omua
23 Kuridrani

Discards from the 40:
Alexander, Betham, Dennis, Fainga'a, Fainga'a, Harris, McMeniman, Phipps, Simmons, Tomane

Leftovers for the 30:
CFS, Foley, Kimlin, McCalman, JOC (James O'Connor), Ryan, Schatz

Sorted.

Good effort Pfitzy. Almost spot on imo for the first test. I'd have Slipper start at THP in place of Kepu, and Alexander on the bench to cover. I really like the look of Fardy at 6, but think it's unlikely.

Nailed the backline.

I would discard one of Kepu or Ryan in place of Benny A, Schatz in place of MMM, JOC (James O'Connor) in place of Tomane and McCalman in place of Simmons. Not sure about the need for a third No 10 in the 30, but would be happy enough if Foley is retained.

Joe Moody from the Saders has been called into the squad. I know very little about him.

In better news, it looks as if Steven Luatua will recover in time from his shoulder injury (though he will be on the bench at best)

I'd say that Foley would likely go as Lealiifano covers the third 10.

Would be surprised if S. Finger went, as I think they will keep a third hooker. Same may be true for Phipps as well.

Link might swap Schatz for Dennis (or gone completely with Foley to make room for a 3rd hooker - S. Finger - and 3rd halfback - Phipps), Kimlin for 3M (primarily as Kimlin is most likely off and I wouldn't bank on him being back until the ink is dry) and Tomane for CFS as well from those left overs as well as Benny A for Ryan, as you mentioned.

The final one is Simmons. Not sure Link will discard him. I'm not entirely in agreement with Pfitzy over how apparently useless Simmons is - Simmons put in some very complete performances in Super Rugby at the back end of the season.

From the 7 lefts overs, I think we will see roughly 1 prop, 1 hooker, 1 lock, 1 flanker, 1 halfback, 1 inside back (or utility back), 1 outside back (or utility back).

My revised left overs from Pfitzy's team:

Benny A, S. Finger, 3M, McCalman, Phipps, JOC (James O'Connor) (also considered as a 12 as well as wing/fullback), Tomane. Simmons may also appear. Horne may also feature over Tomane as he covers 12/13, leaving JOC (James O'Connor) to cover wing/fullback (ditto Harris, but unlikley).

Out:
Ryan, Simmons, Kimlin, Dennis, Schatz, Foley, Harris, Horne, CFS, Betham.

In the end, I agree that Fardy will probably not be seen at blindside. 6/8 combination is a big headache for Link (working out who will partner Mowen in the other position).

Ha, Joe Moody. Reggie Goodes has looked far more impressive this year, but I guess it is the team he plays for that assisted greatly in his selection.

Waiting for the inevitable call up of Ben Funnell when Hore, Mealamu or Coles goes down. ;)

Nathan Sharpe (72)
Forgive me for being technical, but can you please point out where you called that A. Fainga'a would be out of the squad due to injury?

I didn't. I said he should be chucked, and the universe delivered. Don't care how.

Hell I thought Moody has looked pretty good for Saders

So he can rest that freakish 90 degree waist of his. Never seen another human being whose hips can face forward while he looks square on to the sideline when scrummaging. Amazing. :)

Amazing those Kiwis. take the other AB LH prop for instance, the one with three legs... :)

We’ll never be as good as the Ozzies and Kiwis, and we just have to accept that……at cheating, conniving and how to put a smile on a sheeps face that is.

Rassie was that an attempt at a joke? Because it's possibly one of the worst I have seen written here. I know there are cultural differences between our two countries but you should at least make an attempt to not insult the people who host the site you post on.

My sincere apology . It was not intended as a insult. So my apology to the the people from the USA.

Anyways I got the EBF of NZ and Australia here. EBF is a calculation normally used to see what position is the best for youngsters according to height and weight. It tells you the meat a player is packing. Here is the Aussie and Kiwi side

The thing is Australia is one of the only sides in the world where you can see a clear difference between backs and forwards.

Firstly - I'm not sure why you apologised to the people of the USA.
Secondly - lots of nice numbers, but what do they actually mean, or indeed contribute to this thread?

He's a clever little bugger is Rassie. Green and Gold appears to be hosted on a server in the USA. He was referring to Sully's suggestion that he apologise to the people who host Green and Gold, in this instance Linode, who are based in the USA.

You'd have to be a geek to have gotten his attempt at humour :)

It would also help if he was actually funny.........
