+1 I like that idea Wolverine.

Cheers Gooch.

BTW some posters have made the fair point that Japan would not offer strong opposition against the Wallabies. A potential solution is a Japanese Barbarians team, representing the best players from their Top League. There are a lot of good foreigners over there, and the Top League teams might be more amenable to releasing players for a one off game, perhaps because it show the strength of the competition to people in Australian/NZ Rugby. Consider some of the players that could turn out for a Japanese selection:

15 Peter Hewat (Australia A), 14 Rico Gear (All Blacks), 13 Tamati Ellison (NZ Maori), 12 David Hill (All Blacks), 11 Anthony Tuitavake (All Blacks), 10 Sam Norton Knight (Wallabies), 9 Fourie Du Preez (South Africa, will be there after RWC), 8 Hale T'Pole (Tonga), 7 Todd Clever (USA) 6 Mose Tuialii (All Blacks), 5 Brad Mika (All Blacks), 4 Hugh McMeniman (Wallabies) 18 Ifereimi Rawaqa (Fiji), 19 Josh Blackie (Junior ABs), 20 Craig Wing (Aus RL), 21 Shane Drahm (QLD, England A), 22 Ryan Nicholas (ex Highlanders, Japan)
