JBar has had scans on the knee he injured v France & according to Tamati Ellison they don't look promising wrt selection v Italy. Final decision will be made Friday euro time by the sound of it.

Can't believe they're putting out more soppy talk about fArEwElL mAtCh for Cane and Perenara. Isn't this why we had to put up with Perenara's absolute shitter of an effort in Wellington? It's done. Move on. There's nothing to be gained from another test of Perenara's arm flapping and Cane's up right tackling/card fishing.

^ 100% agree wrt TJP but I thought we really missed Cane's close to the ruck D: was great to see ASav & Sititi causing havoc out by the tramlines but we gifted France some cheap metres in the 2-5m either side of the ruck & that possibly cost us the game.

Holland at lock would be good to see as well. Seems more likely than Lam anywhere, but idk how much more likely.

Could even noodle Barrett over to blindside...

EDIT: Or onto the bench with Tuipulotu.

Fuck me so the 3 wise Cantab cronies are going to finish the tour having decided the backup guys are not ready for this level. And all the tenured incumbents are either off after this game or on their last legs.

Zero development for next season........... and the trusted old guard lost 4 tests this year anyway.

It's especially odd given how he lol nope'd retiring 202-capped Crusader Wyatt Crockett out of the 2018 Super Rugby final in Christchurch.

This was the reason why I believed we'd have some 2004 level turnover, at least on the EOYT.

EDIT: And Crockett was dropped in favour of Tim Perry, of all people.

"What the f*** Razor, you'll finish the tour with no f****** idea if your latest Cantab teachers pet George Bell can even play or not, you only got lucky with Wally cos your last teachers pet Slackbladder of course fell to fucken bits after 5 minutes, you've ground Slowtrain Cane to dust with no idea who the next 7 is, stuck with Flapa f***** Nara even though the pricks pass is so shitty he was stuck behind Tawera Kerr-Barlow as well as fucken AfterDavid for very good reason, no idea if AJ Lam can play 12 cos you want to gift more tests to your useless fucking mate "DAVE", no idea if Perofuture or Plummer can play 1st 5 cos you're sticking with Kickbot Cotton Woolly Beaudy C***face between his f***** sabbaticals, no idea if Proctor can even play cos he can't get a look past AL fucking B, Jordie and titty hands Rieko and no idea if Ruben Love or Stephen Perofeta are really up to it cos you persist with your wifebeating Crusader arsehole pal Sevu Reece, a winger who probably couldn't even beat your precious Cantab doofus George Bell in a fucking footrace you f****** cu

I don't get the love for ALB.....

There is not one Test I can remember him playing in except when he yellow-carded for committing 2 yellow-card offences in the same passage of play!

ALB had a couple of good games at 12 this year but otherwise him and Havili have been rotating for that bench utility spot nearly all season and they've both sucked.

The only time someone in the 23 jersey did anything was Ruben Love vs Japan who scored 2 tries.

This would be the perfect game to give Love and Lam a game.

What the hell is Beauden doing at 10 again?

There's no way around it - Razor's been a rubbish match day 23 selector in 2024.

Well that was an utter waste of time

Watch a tired re-tread team with no injection of youth or enthusiasm stumble around the field for 80 minutes.

A real missed opportunity to give newer players a go.

The backs in particular are an absolute mess. They looked like they just met before the match.

Another forgettable ALB performance with a yellow card. The same players dishing up mediocrity - Beauden, Rieko etc
