35-11 with a bonus point win to Australia is a good result, but those injuries to Barret and Alatini are really going to hurt our chances in the tournament. Also a likely suspension for Cordukes.

Georgia were good until they ran out of steam in the second half.
Their earlier defense was totally 'in your face', but so many tackles was probably their downfall

Weight of possession against them in the second half told late in the game. But they showed enough to see why they have been competitive against higher ranked sides this year. I understand they have recently recorded wins against both Italy and England. Is this right?

Hard to know what to make of that game. First half with the wind the JWB’s were poor and error strewn, scrum in trouble, missed lineouts and some of the outside backs kicked away or dropped possession. Cordukes was playing well till his red card.

Second half they were very good. Sawyers and HMP best on ground, closely followed by Leahy, Bloomfield and Macpherson. McLeod had some good carries.. Bench forwards Ieli and Doyle really got them going forward in the second half and the scrum stabilised on their side.

First half 3/10 and second half 8/10. Georgia tackled like men possessed for 60mins then ran out of gas.

Backs in the 2nd half were good - #23 injected pace and momentum. #10 ran the game well, #4 and #7 are work horses, the latter looks more suited as a #6.

#8 and #6 look to be the weak links, with #20 off the bench even weaker.

The loss of the two props to injury will hurt our scrum even more.
