2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Wilson

Phil Kearns (64)
So looking at

9. Mcdermott, 10. O'Connor, 11. Daugunu, 12. Stewart, 13. Paisami with

14. Campbell, 15. Hegarty (or swapped, like they were for the bulls)
or
14. Feauai-Sautia, 15. Campbell

Might come down to how everyone has been kicking and if we need Hegarty there for it.

It's Tuesday evening and the game is on Friday. No sense of urgency, not a hint of professionalism.

These cocks believe they have access to our attention and hence our money as-of-right.

You don’t really understand how this works do you? You’ve got QRU, ARU, Suncorp and Ticketek all working with skeleton staff.

They’ve got to completely rebuild the seating allocation based on who registered to attend while it seems a bunch of members whinge about not receiving the email despite it sitting in their junk box. They’ve got to ensure that they comply with the strict govt and health regulations.

Don’t think it gets easier with the crowd size now at 25000. In fact it makes it harder.

And make no mistake. This is not a money making endeavour. They will lose money. Everyone will. It’s about trying to appease a broadcaster and getting SOME funds into the game and it’s about giving content to members in the hope they don’t demand a refund and break to organisation.

Excited to see Harris vs Wilson at number 8! Goodluck to all the Tahs youngsters, I honestly hope they go well. Not sure Newsome at 13 is worth persisting with, guess there's not much left though!

Anyone know much about Tuaina Taii Tualima? I watched the youtube highlights and he looks a pretty skillful bloke that hits hard.

Interesting - BPA and Hoopert starting over Mafi and JP Smith. I wonder if two are just fitter post-COVID or they're trying something different.

Never heard of Walton(unless it's Rory!). Reds could have a training run through that 12/13 channel with Newsome and a debutant(?)
