2020 Super Rugby Round 1 (REDUX): Reds v Waratahs

Finsbury Girl

Trevor Allan (34)
Geez Campbell been absolutely killing it at fullback so yeah chuck him back on the wing??

yeah goal kicking blah blah. JOC (James O'Connor) or Stewart should man up or Jock should learn to channel John Eales.

I will be very interested to see where they slot ASY (Angus Scott-Young) when he comes on. Desperately unlucky to be benched but at least it's for a an absolute freak.

I look forward to our back row absolutely munting the dirty tahs. Should get Angus' dad to give the boys a gee up before the game or maybe even a legend like Buddha (appropriately socially distanced of course :D) That would be very cool.

Obviously stoked for another galloper to earn a QLD guernsey!

Glad to see some youth in the Tahs side. Bit worried about the defence in the backline with Paisami running his hard lines but the locks and backrow are pretty decent.

Tualima has apparently gained sgnificant mass (as he was instructed to do so) his previous frame at 193cm and 99kg is just too slight for a no.6 let alone a lock.

He's put on the beef so let's see!

So keen for Harris v Wilson

TBH I think the 6 backrow options for WC will be

6- Valetini/Wilson
7- Hoops/Wright
8- Naisarani/Harris

I think we'll see bits of Samu between now and then but not for WC and Mcreight will either a) replace Hooper in time for WC or b) be ready for a contract upgrade when his contract is up in 2023 and Hoops leaves

What a stacked team - Reds should do this by 20. But, they haven't been able to recently so maybe not.

Excited for some football.

Excited to watch Bell, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes), Swinton, Harris, Harrison, Donaldson and Moeroa.

Never heard of Walton(unless it's Rory!). Reds could have a training run through that 12/13 channel with Newsome and a debutant(?)
Joey Walton would be the 12 , Aussie Schoolboy from 2018.
Very green midfield, but I guess now’s the time to give them a go.

Josh Flook at 23 for the Reds a similar project .

Good luck to them !
