For those wondering how the Super Rugby FTA broadcasts are going on 10bold at 8am on Sundays - 14k metro this week.(Syd 2k, Melb 1k, Bri 9k, Adl 1k, Per 1k)
edit: Schute Shield rated 20k in Sydney on 7TWO on Saturday
Be a bit careful comparing STV and FTA ratings - they aren't really the same thing. So, the Shute Shield can boast ratings greater than much of the A-League for the past what 10 rounds?

The ratings on 10 Bold for A-League are pretty disastrous, but the ones we've seen are above that Shute Shield number (with all the obvious Sydney & prime time caveats). Over summer they were around 70k. Down to 31k for the most recent game
The Prem League games on SBS are also going relatively well - and way ahead of the A-League. They did 134k for Tottenham v West Ham on Sat night
8600 for Reds against Sunwolves
Reds v Sunwolves 63k
Crusaders v Sharks 35k
7567 at Bruce for Brumbies v Blues
Novelty certainly seems to sell the odd ticket. Match at brookie was popular but if it was there every week it wouldn't be.Collector, a small NSW town of 330 residents, attracted 18,000 visitors to its pumpkin festival. Sort of shows up the crowds going to rugby these days, but, of course, who'd choose to go to a Super Rugby game when they have the option of all the excitement of watching a pumpkin grow?
Maybe rugby grounds should look at hosting some sort of weird festival on game days to get a half decent crowd through the gates.
