That's ok mate, not really names we are after, it's the game they need to change to suit the team and not the individual. Correct?

If they didn't play him over Ezra for NSW, I doubt they'd give him a go in Aus 20s. Besides there was too much of playing people out of position last year I hope they learned their lesson.

Yirribi is not a 13 - but I'm basing that on his play a few seasons ago.

in the last few years we've picked inexperienced midfielders and they have been found out.
We've also assumed that a season of league or a stint with the the Storm means you must be a good union player. It doesn't.

I know coaches were selecting for speed on the ball making it an expansive and fast game plan, maybe keep the ball moving but as you all know, there is a high rate of ball handling errors that comes with that. That's why I think Stewart will relieve that game plan if we need to. There's a couple of mid fielders that can play that style but whether or not they get the nod is another thing.

Wish they would announce the team so that we can see what we are dealing with or can see what type of game plan he has in mind.

I disagree, I thought he was brilliant for Joeys playing in Centres. He has lateral ability to run around his opposite number, he is a very elusive runner.

But at rep level they seem to want the Nathan Grey type that runs straight and lots of crash balls. (and has the defensive skills) But most defenses at that level are good enough to handle that play.

Think the Victorian Hunter Paisami will be in the frame

Hunter was not called up to the camp, so he may not be on the selectors radar and I can't remember him having any impact, in fact the #22 that came off the bench for the Rebels looked quick and troubled a few defenders, he was on the wing however but would have been good in the midfield.

Haven't heard much from Hugh Jarse in the 20's thread this season, normally he has some great input. Like to hear your thoughts on how the boys look for this years JWC Hugh

H2C, have you posted your best guess at the 15?
That is a good question HB, I'm not really a forwards fundie but my backline would be:
9 - Nucifora/ Goddard
10 - Stewart
11 - Perese
12 - Tuipuloto
13 - Riley
14 - Ngamanu
15 - Madocks (he is currently injured not sure if he will be ready) otherwise Nick Jooste.

I doubt the Sevens boys will be released for the Oceania nor the JWC. Perese has been training and playing on the wing and really well I might add, why put him at 13. I think he is a good winger.
