Last year the Chee had the upper hand in Sydney, can the Wara take revenge in Osfontein. Both teams on their last feet as far as S15 2012 goes and will probably give it their best shot.

Referee: Craig Joubert (South Africa)
Assistant referees: Sindile Mayende (South Africa), Stefan Breytenbach (South Africa)
Television match official: Gerrie Coetzee (South Africa)

Tahs carrying injuries

Mumm(concussion) Elsom(shoulder) s.Timani (shoulder)

Drews back, TPN is back.

Hopefully they play Foley at 10 just so we can have a look at him if nothing else, Barnes running game has been good the last few games in the few times he has employed it. Moving one out will hopefully see more of it.

Foley was quoted as saying drew would be getting 30 or so minutes but didn't say if he was starting or finishing

The bit in the article about the Tahs having to send one player home due to Stanford flying over due to injuries seems stupid.

It's the last game on the tour and someone is being flown over to cover for injured players. Surely it makes no sense from a health perspective to force a side to put an injured sportsman on a long flight when flying might not be the best thing for their injury.

Surely there should be some option of just delegating who is out of selection contention in your 24 man touring squad and sending them home when it makes sense.

OK so Mitchell gets to 50 minutes, who replaces him?

Carter to 12, AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) to the wing or Pretorius to the wing?

I am, if you look at the side it's the strongest we've had all year. Doubts over the fitness of TPN, Timani and Mitchell however. The boys are gunna come out firing.

Looking forward to this. Cheetahs have been playing some great rugby for little result, they throw it wide and back each other up well and it's great to watch. The try against the crusaders earlier this year was a fantastic example of support play.
I love watching Brussow play at any opportunity.

I'm excited to see Drew back, having spoken to him a couple of times during the last year, it doesn't matter if he makes it back to the beast he was or not, I think playing might be the difference between some very serious depression and someone who is going to be giving back to rugby in one way or another for a long time to come.

Don't know what to expect, hope both teams have a hell of a go at murdering each other and the best team wins. As usual for e,best team = waratahs

Is Barnes killing off the Tahs attack as much as Ella says, and Spiro Zavos repeated today?

Certainly the Reds backline hasn't looked back since he moved out of it.

Tahs put on a good show against the Sharks a couple of long months ago so why has it all gone pear-shaped since and can they turn it around tonight?

I think it's important to realize that Spiro would do anything in his power to put the Tahs down, everything but come up with an original thought, but anything else. Everything he says is not only borrowed but said with intense prejudice that would never apply to any team but NSW.

Ella is half right, Barnes was following a game plan, execution in the first half was bad, but he did adapt as the game plan changed slightly in the second half. As most people debate here he is a 12 not a 10.

Bernard Foley is the spark for the Tahs, when he was started at 15 this year the Tahs attack got better, when he was missing so was the Tahs attack, the game plan took him out of the game last week but he still looked good.

It's not all Barnes fault, he isn't faultless but he isn't the anti Christ.

Well there is a first. I actually agree with you on that one WJ.

Another of the problems Barnes is facing is that no-one is giving him any options outside. It takes two to tango, Barnes can't physically force guys to hit the ball on the cut or at pace.

Spot on, the support play and running lines in the backs have been diabolical. Horne and B.Foley are the only ones hitting at pace or in gaps for mine, the rest (except Kingston who's class is obvious) are just going through the motions.

Very early days but great to see the Tahs keeping the ball in hand & being rewarded with 2 tries within the first 6 minutes. Albeit that the Cheetahs' defence has been wanting, there has been some good passing/support play exhibited in the lead up to both meat pies. More please.
