As much as I want the youngsters, Morne the best option for saturday. Its his homeground and maybe the last role of the dice for him. Make no sense to play not 100% fit players even as talented as Goosen.

It's not about winning the test its about making progress.

So Steyn plays, kicks us to victory and then we're stuck with him.

Fuck.

We need to break the Wallabies on saturday, winning aint enough and if its Morne , so be it. Trust me I'll have Lambie, Jankies there anyday but we need to back our coach now. He is under lots of pressure and look like someone who learn some lessons as he go along. Know you dont watch CC anymore, can assure you we have lots of young guns coming through.

I see two games a week.

I must say this year lacks intensity and the stands look empty.

Oh and the Bulls have sucked so bad they need to fire Pienaar now.

No Stephen Moore this weekend after re-injuring his hamstring. He just tweeted that he will be heading home for rehab.

Re-injured my hamstring yesterday. heading home tonight to join @BrumbiesRugby team rehab. Hate injuries but could be worse its only a game.

If this test wasnt at Loftus, Goosen would have started. Goosen's "Bruised" ankle is just a build up excuse as to why he isnt going to be selected in the starting team.

Oh sorry, thought you lot dont get CC rugby. The CC is heading for a melt down Boet. From this weekend is do or die rugby. Still think Saru missing the trick with the new Premier Division. We need two more teams to get live rugby on friday nights. The low crowds is because of the amount of rugby, CC still beats S15 by some distance in viewership and is up on last years figures, average per match.

Feel sorry for the Brutes, hopefull we see the start of a new generation bulletjies.

Apparently from Tuesday's training session (if anyone writing for Keo can be trusted!) the changes to the starting XV from the last test will be Etzebeth for Flip, Bekker for Kruger and Goosen for Morne. (http://keo.co.za/2012/09/25/goosen-looks-set-to-start/)

Happy with all of those changes if correct. If that is the team that starts, I'd be very interested to see which backs will be wearing jersey's 20, 21, 22. Will he go the conservative route and keep Steyn on the bench as an insurance option? Or will he be completely dropped out of the 22? With three spots up for grabs on the bench and no need for a reserve scrumhalf, I guess it may just be easiest to have a straight swap of Goosen starting and Morne on the bench. Which will it be:

Steyn/Lambie/de Jongh?
Jantjies/Lambie/de Jongh?
Lambie/de Jongh/Taute?
Steyn/de Jongh/Taute?
Jantjies/de Jongh/Taute?

Goosen apparently ran at 10 all day yesterday and looks to start.

I suspect F Steyn will play at inside centre with a bung ankle. A good side step might expose him.....Pat can you sidestep?

Reports are that F Steyn will be fine.

There has been some terrible reporting out of SA regarding these injuries. Headlines this week suggested that Goosen and F Steyn are completely broken.

So we are looking at:

Kirchner (Meh, meh), Habana, Jdv, Frans, Hougaard, Goosen, Pienaar
Vermaulya, Alberts, Louw, Bekker, Eatsyouforbreakfast, Jannie, Strauss, Beast

Tough on Kruger and Flip vd M and Lambie.

CJ vs linde likely on bench. Meh. All other props are broken or banned (dimwit).

Steyn and Lambie on bench. Dumb, but likely.

Are F Steyn and Goosen actually injured or is this just all a bit of foxing by Meyer?
