Well said. The ARU need to sort this out. I dont know why they simply can just make it a prerequisite for the telecast rights (i.e. whichever channel buys the rights to things like the Bledisloe or the RWC agrees that the games will go out live nationally, save for certain circumstances... Even if it means they have to reduce their take, surely Aus rugby comes out ahead. Our code needs exposure. it's not getting it on free to air tv, nor in our public school. Until they fix that it wil only ever be a sport for people wealthy enough to own foxtel or go to a GSP school. Change that and we'll have the talent to beat the All Blacks...something tells me we wont be able to achieve that before 7:40pm though haha
It's actually not rubbish. Henry, by his own admission, stated he looked at the French offences that were not penalised, rather than all the offences. His opinion, therefore, is heavily biased. Perhaps look in depth at what Scott produced, rather than rubbishing it out of hand and formulating an opinion without really looking at the evidence, simply because he had the temerity to disagree with Lord Ted, based on an analytical approach.
I suspect he won't, from the last few posts.

I didn't offer my viewpoint on Graham Henry's comments. I simply said that I don't recognise the validity of this joker's report, regardless of how fancy he's pasted it into a spread sheet.

Why are you referring to Scott as a 'joker'? A bit below the belt there if you ask me. He stated an opinion, his opinion was in contrast to Graham Henry's. If you don't accept the conclusion, that's fine, but don't go calling Scott a joker.

I'm a huge fan of Fainga'a at 12
That kid is one of the best defenders I've ever seen in either code. his speed and co ordination is exceptional. He goes in low and hard with deadly accuracy and drops much bigger men in their tracks. he gets to his feet quickly to contest the ball or make himself available for the next tackle. His acceleration, speed, fitness and timing is exceptional. Fainga'a has been given an opportunity and he'll aim up. I also feel he is much underrated in attack. His acceleration onto the ball takes us over the advantage line despite his small stature. He reacts quickly and explodes onto the ball.
The good news is that Maybelline Nonu is perhaps the most over rated allblack in the history of rugby. There would be amazing opportunity down the 13 channel if we played AAC (Adam Ashley-Cooper) at 13. Rob Horne is one of Deans' "protected species" and is ineffective in attack and his defence in 2012 has been soft. I just don't get Deans infatuation with Horne. he fails time and time again.
mcCabe is a plodder. I think we're a huge chance without him clogging up our backline
I like our frontrow. Big, 'ard, aggressive
Our second row is a worry for me. I feel Sharpe's best days are behind him. He just doesn't have the mongrel to belt kiwis into submission. Sitaleki has the mongrel and size but not the talent.
I'm liking Higgers at 8. He has a bit of aggro, and go forward. I like his combination with Genia at 9.
Pocock is well hyped. He always finishes second to Mccaw......even when we have double teamed Mccaw with two open sides playing 6 and 7. McCaw is still king........even with a crippling foot injury, concussion etc etc. Mccaw shows the remarkable resilience and tenacity that wallabies can only look on with curiosity and admiration. That bloke has a special motor and it's spelt DESIRE.
If we are to win this match, the wallaby backrow has to aim up and win the collisions at the breakdown. Dennis has a massive role to play. I'm prepared to give him a chance after his stellar season for the Tahs. This is a Bledisloe test in a series we haven't won for ten years though. No time to "learn test rugby". Deliver. The kiwis need to be belted backwards and this is your task. Deliver!

12 is Fainga'as best position no doubt. Needs to have a huge game to keep SBW quiet and needs to be careful about rushing out of the line. They will be expecting it.
If he can nail Sonny B a few times early on it will help to get the Wobs going in the right direction.

Frustrated that Mark Gerrard was overlooked so many times over the last couple of years. He played some of the most incredible rugby at the Rebels! Always able to conjure up some magic with ball-in-hand, and very solid in defence, with one of the best kicks in the game. Has been in far better form than some of the usual backs that Deans persists with! Such a versatile player and always a great inclusion against the all blacks, especially with his size, toughness and experience. Sadly, we'll probably never see him playing on Aus soil again.
Also hope to see Hugh Pyle and Cadeyrn Neville play for the wallabies real soon. Huge talent!
