Draw seems very fitting - neither team deserved to win. Wouldn't expect Australia to be happy with that result, they should have won that game, pretty much everything went their way. Joubert needs to have a rest, after tonight I think he's officially lost the plot, pretty much ruined the game's chances of reaching any heights.

Wouldn't have made a difference who ref'd, someone would have had a whine. There is no winning for referees in the modern game.

However to say Joubert was excellent would be defamatory to the reasonably competent refs around. His penalties which he awarded were simply wrong and desperately awarded.

The final penalty against Gill was a joke and showed that the bloke panics when he's out of his comfort zone.

Beale showed he didn't have the ticker to make the tough calls.

yeah, Cooper is an absolute rock under pressure.

That was Beale's third game at 10 for the wallabies and he played as well as cooper has since at least the start of 2011.

A pretty ugly game all round. Too many handling errors and ill discipline. Draw probably a fair result. While Joubert, I suppose was balanced, he was far too present at breakdown time. The game had no flow whatsoever. Credit to the Wallabies, a gutsy performance. Should have had a go at the end instead of wait for a penalty or a sitter. They'd been "having a go" all game.

And to all those one eyed deadset muppets whinging about McCaw AGAIN.. Woodcock, Mealamu, Faumuina, Franks, Phipps and Hooper all conceded more penalties than him while 11 others conceded the same amount. Deadset, broken records the lot of ya.

The ABs demonstrated how it's done, although the execution wasn't there.
