Comment regarding BGS having their 'premiership box' ticked is completely wrong. BGS are looking to build off that amazing season in 2012, as the First XV coaching panel has grown in both numbers and experience in 2014. 2012 was simply an outstanding year due to the calibre of players (Greene...

Both Traves (14) and Fison (11) had brilliant games. Fison is sure to be someone to look out for in 2015. Max Wenck played well I thought, always does have a solid defensive game IMO no matter how big his opposite number is. Harrison Bartkowski (4) from BGS also had a solid debut in the First XV...

SamoanNo8 predictions for R1: TSS vs BBC: Seems that BBC have failed to gather momentum heading into Round 1 of the competition with injuries and team changes. A determined and unified TSS outfit will get over the line in this one. TSS by 5. BSHS vs TGS: It's country vs South Brisbane...

Higgins rumour is uncertain as of yet. However, I can confirm that G Fraser will be starting at 13 for BGS, shifting star import Michael Wolstenholme to 14. BGS will be looking to add extra weight in the centres and G Fraser is the man to fit this criteria to shut down GT No. 13 Nikau Te Rupe.

Outstanding report, Martin. It is clear that your knowledge of the game is immense and your literary skills are superb.

BGS vs GT Summary/Prediction was awful and inaccurate. Completely biased. However, ACGS and IGS Report First paragraph was very relevant.

GT Supporter, how did Matt Forsyth go and will he play First XV come Round 1 vs BGS?

    QLD GPS Rugby 2014

I can confirm that Eddie McCorley has left BGS due to personal reasons. Yet another key BGS First XV player to leave within a month of the competition kicking off. What number will Forsyth be playing for GT this weekend? And against who? And what is the draw for Round 1?

BGS got up 19 to 15 against Downlands. Very wet game which restricted the moves of the backs. Standouts from BGS: Paddy Dooley, Oli Fison, Nick Ebzery and a few others. Tom Sly in his first game back from injury controlled the backs well, as well as some personal razzle dazzle.
