    Bledisloe # 3 - Saturday 31st October, ANZ Stadium

Did Simone bring any of the play-making abilities we thought he had? Did it ever look as though he was making it easier for Lolesio? If not, makes you wonder whether we are just better off picking an abrasive 12 e.g. Paisami.

Cannot believe you have the courage to include a completely untried and untested schoolboy on this list above seasoned club players.

Is it a surprise? Can't believe anyone actually had faith in Lolesio and Simone as a debutant 10-12 combination against the All Blacks!

Baptism of Fire for Lolesio and Simone! Banks can consider himself unlucky but DHP's selection is prudent in the circumstances with the plethora of debutants. Difficult to see Simone playing 80 and difficult to see Petaia being pulled - so presumably Paisami comes on for Simone. That will...

What are the prospects of Hodge filling the 12 jersey if To'omua is injured? He is familiar with play-making roles, and a big body to secure the channel defensively. Thoughts? I have concerns about a Lolesio-JOC (James O'Connor) 10-12 combo. Potentially fragile defensively and JOC (James O'Connor) has been solid in the 10...

New Zealand vs Australia Oct 11 2020 Bledisloe Cup

Not great - hence why the selection of a traditional fullback in Haylett-Petty would be a prudent decision. MK and Daugunu on the wings is perfectly fine. Attacking/running prowess is fantastic. But it needs to be balanced. Banks doesn't quite achieve that balance.

Will be interesting to see how we can get Paisami and Petaia into the same match-day XV next year. It would be a dangerous centre combination in light of what we've seen from both so far. Does Hunter make the move to 12?

What coach could potentially fix the Wallabies? Jake White? Nucifora? The Crusaders coach?

    Reds v Bulls: Round 4 - Suncorp

Dropping Duncan is a poor move IMO. If Thorn wants Daungunu in the side, then move Toa to the wing, Duncan to 15 and then drop Eto. Duncan is arguably our best player.

    Karmichael Hunt Stuff

If Thorn is willing to say goodbye to Quade for his little games and Frisby for his midseason parties, then I have no doubt that he will SACK Hunt without any reservations.

    Shute Shield 2017

Higgins (#8 for West Harbour), after moving over from the US, had a pretty strong season for the Pirates - especially towards the end. Would expect him to feature in an NRC squad.

Samoan #8 tips for round 4: BBC vs TSS: Close one here. Will TSS be able to pick themselves up after their shock loss to the competition dark horse IGS? Or will BBC make it 4/4 and further clear their path towards their first premiership in over half a century? TSS will pick themselves up - they...

With all due respect to the TGS 1st XV (always put up a fight, always put in an admirable effort - I do admire them as a rugby school), BGS would be kicking themselves over that performance. Kicking for territory seemed to be a pretty clear tactic. Several times early on, particularly off set...
