Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

That is the default introduction but with 4 games till the world cup starts we need to test him against the best.
  2. KOB1987

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Is it better than JS White at Kings? Which is the worst out of Scots and Riverview.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

Yeah I think we need to run him out off the bench against Sth Africa and/or NZ to see if he cuts the mustard. We can cover his lack of versatility by also having someone like Hodge or Kellaway on the bench (assuming they aren't starters).

    RWC jerseys

I actually don't know why they frig around with jersey designs so much. If it aint broke, don't fix it. For me, the '91 jersey probably with the current Wallabies logo, green collar, plain green shorts and the hooped socks. I know Ella has the Adidas stripes, but do away with them, just go plain.

    RWC jerseys

Ok fair enough, I see what you are getting at now. @Marce might be the best to answer that on this forum

    RWC jerseys

Does there need to be one? As far as I know Argentina doesn't have any real indigenous ties - I think in South America that is more Amazon/Brazil/Venezuela etc ie to the north. Regardless, if we decided to use our away jersey to honour say our WW1 diggers, would that be queried? Sure there...

    RWC jerseys

Yes, I have retracted my earlier criticism. I still don't have to like it but I do respect it's symbolism.
  8. KOB1987

    The Otago Highlanders

Well it's an upgrade on Dunedin at least.
  9. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2023

And not quite the same type of utility but TPN was known to run out at #8 on occassion for Two Blues.

    Wallabies 2023

Do we know that size had anything to do with LL's exclusion? Maybe Eddie doesn't rate him in other areas as highly as you do as well. On a similar note, I was thinking last night that it's a bit of a turnaround for the Brumbies from having all 3 hookers plus the development one in the...

Switch 4 and 19, and Nawaqanitawase for Vunivalu and you have probably nailed it. It’s Eddie though.

    Wallabies 2023

Can someone start a ‘who are eddie’s leaguies’ thread or something. It’s a topic I am interested in but it’s not particularly relevant to this one.

Definitely played for Colleagues, could well have been the Rats prior.

Springboks v Wallabies, Loftus Versfeld, Sun 9th Jul 1.05am AEST

No time like the present. Will Eddie be conservative for his first team selection or run out a couple of left fielders?
  15. KOB1987

    NSW AAGPS 2023

Before my time but I’m pretty sure Jim Lenehan was a 4 year 1st XV player as well
  16. KOB1987

    Wallabies 2023

Tahs rank well in that regard too, Nadolo was a stuff up but at least he’s actually from Australia, the prop was just legit injury cover. Surprised at the number of ineligibles in the Brumbies squad, I thought NSW & Qld homebreds were their main hunting ground.

Despite the fact they are all Shore boys, I do actually think this current lot are onto all that. Trying to align the dominos so they all fall in the right order would be a monumental task.

I stumbled on this on Twitter and was able to read it as one of my 5 freebies. It’s a good read, remember the hack of hitting ‘escape’ before the paywall warning loads ;)...

    Wallabies 2023

I actually thought it should have been called the Sekope Kepu law, at the time it seemed designed to keep him in the selection frame post 2015 RWC more than it did about being able to select Matt Giteau and Drew Mitchell. Obviously it was a bit about all 3, but I think from memory they could...

    Wallabies 2023

considering Arnold is uncapped I think the past criteria is meaningless, sounds like it is just capped at 5 players. They could probably throw in representation for Aus franchises for x number of Super games, and just add a couple of games onto the bloke who has the least if they want to add...
