Reds vs Brumbies, Lang Park, 2nd March 2018 @ 7:00pm AEST

Well done to the Reds. Ugly be it got the win. I would even go as far as to say they humiliated the Brumbies. The baby Reds and a rookie coach just publicly pants the Brumbies. The Brumbies were simply outplayed out coached and out smarted.

    Brumbies 2018

Well I said when McKellar was appointed he was the wrong choice but would give him some rope so he could prove the point. Job done. I said in the top 5 a few weeks ago that he is the coach with no excuse having a huge compliment of assistants to support him. I also predicted he is the coach...

    Brumbies 2018

It will be tough for the Brumbies board to sell this as they try to cover off (and fend off the obvious criticism) that the Brumbies first home game is scheduled at the same time as one of Canberra's biggest annual events; Skyfire! Final weekend of the balloon spectacular which closes off 3...

Super Rugby Round 2, 2018: Brumbies vs Sunwolves - Tokyo, 3:15pm (AEDT) 24/2

Interesting post game comments by McKellar. Stats don't appear to reflect his observations and even Kafer and Co discussed the habitual "one up" carries and the desperate need of the Brumbies to move away from that bad habit during the game...

    Force 2018

^^^^^^^ Interesting link up. Good luck to Tim Sampson. The Vikings group were very keen on the IPRC idea and indicted publicly their interest in it. Is Twiggy still supporting the NRC as well? Maybe more to this...

    Australian Rugby / RA

Um, that's not my argument nor my point at all. I would suggest you go back and read back through the conversation to understand the context of my comments. The claim some are making that he should not have been paid or contracted during his sabbatical miss the point that he was not obliged...

    Australian Rugby / RA

What exclusive rights didn't they have? They agreed to every piece of that contact including the opportunity to influence when he would and wouldn't play and a say in where and most likely the conditions of that deal.

Even having the surgery back then would not have guaranteed he would not be needing it again now.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Its fairly clear that many people just don't understand the way contracts work nor the circumstances behind why Pocock had surgery on his knee. Poey wanted time off, RA wanted to make sure he returned and retained his services. So if RA want exclusive rights to him, they must contract him...

Nice work all. Good reads! Keep it up.

    Australian Rugby / RA

For the record, it was McKellar who insisted he had surgery now instead of putting up with the niggle for the rest of the season. Pocock was ready and able to play. I believe that as a result of his knee issues, its a degenerative condition that will require "maintenance" surgeries at times in...

    Rebels 2018

Tried to resist; cant. It's just too irresistible! As the Julios Marlo site says, "No matter who you support, a pair of shoes from Julius Marlow does not discriminate". https://www.sen.com.au/win/julius-marlow-footy-2018/

2018 Trial Match: Too Many Waratahs vs The Rebel Alliance @ Brookvale Oval

No, NO! The second line was a serious question. The ex-Force team was good(ish) except for the backs. Now with the JD, Hodge , English, Naivalu and Maddocks I am curious about how much of a difference it will make.

2018 Trial Match: Too Many Waratahs vs The Rebel Alliance @ Brookvale Oval

I like that the Brumbies are causing pain in a Tahs thread! :) Interested to see how a couple of Rebels injected in to a average ex-Force team will perform.

Trial: Brumbies vs Chiefs @ Sunshine Coast

Godwin is having some good games and showing some reasonable form. But he still needs to have time get set and know the script. If you watch when he has to ad-lib he gets lost and attack does not come to him naturally. His mistakes came as soon as it was broken play. His kicking to the side line...

Trial: Brumbies vs Chiefs @ Sunshine Coast

Hawera seemed to make a difference to the attack in the second half. Worked well with Lucas and Godwin.

    Rebels 2018

Thank goodness for that. Its hard to tell the difference between the random thoughts in an internet forum and an actual strategy when it comes the the Rebels. BTW, does an actual strategy exist or is that also a random thought?

    Rebels 2018

Great plan. Ignore potential income that could be signed via a one year sponsorship arrangement to start negotiation from a position of nothing sponsorship wise, poorer financial position and possibly already rejected sponsors . WOW!
