    Brumbies 2018

I respect and admire a man who knows what he is talking about and the facts and stats (reality) back up his words and actions. Off the back of the Reds game McKeller made several post match comments about the performance. One was that with possession the Brumbies performances would be...

Rebels vs Brumbies, Friday 9 March AAMI Park, 7.30pm

Ah Nelic; the irony! Ex Kiwi who went north looking for opportunity. Played with Souths in QLD in 2015 (IIRC won Premiership). NRC performances opened the door to the Brumbies squad where he has impressed but stuck behind the non-performing names and reputations.

Damien Hill! :p My only condition is the RA coach development guru does not endorse him! He was one half of the panel that recommended McKellar.

    Brumbies 2018

So time for Damien Hill as the interim HC? Also grab a good young attacking NRC coach to run the backline. (Time to go razzle dazzel Hewat).

My question is how McKellar has taken a one dimensional team and made it regress. Every week from now forward McKellar and Hewat are at the Brumbies is collateral damage to both the Brumbies and Aussie rugby.

Congrats to the Rebels played well and deserved win. Most importantly evolving week to week.

Cant work out why the simulation penalty wasn't called.

^^^ Happy to carry his bags. ;)

    Reds 2018

Yep. I agree and that's why I am unsure about either.

    Reds 2018

Both emigrated in 2010 and are Australian citizens (did the citizenship thing while at the Brumbies 2015/ early 16'ish). Ruan played for the Force then Brumbies (2012-2016) then played in Japan. I think he might be eligible. JP only had about 3yrs in the Brumbies / Vikings set up then recently...

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Brumbies did the same last year. Stripped away the flames / pyro stuff and many other activities including live music that had before every game. When they then sent out the "game day experience" survey it was almost laughable as beyond the game there wasn't much else left to rate or comment...

    Brumbies 2018

Good point BR. But if you consider the Powell Hawera combination is already familiar. Dargaville played @12 all of the NRC with Haweara (and one game of Powell, Hawera, Dargaville). Muirhead was in that set up at either 11 or 15. The only new one in the group that hasn't played in a back-line...

    Brumbies 2018

I am curious about: 9. Powell / Lucas 10. Hawera 11. Peni 12. Muirhead 13. Dragaville 14. Taliauli 15. Banks  :eek:;) As a transition thing, I would even be happy to leave Godwin in @13 for a few weeks (2) for stability then sub Dargaville in for him. With the...

    Brumbies 2018

My concern: Which is a 2017 statement or 2018 from the Brumbies head coach? 1. We have to make sure we pick and choose when we want to attack and where we want to attack from 2. The players are still learning how and when to pick their moments to attack 3. We're very proud of how we maul and...

    Brumbies 2018

Maybe this is the real issue BR. The Brumbies had the chance to change the culture and clean house but failed to do so. Consider that only Hewat has not worked with or served under Larkham. Larkham still sits in the Brumbies HQ and has influence from a Wallabies prospective. The rich irony...

    Brumbies 2018

^^^ I agree with making some tough decisions. It may upset some (like the QC (Quade Cooper) thing) but it needs to happen for the greater good. It also need to be selections that in combination yield results. Picking on individuals form that don't then make up a cohesive unit is pointless (EG: Brumbies...

    Brumbies 2018

Yes! Less idea what to do. Combination and continuity issues. Player performance issues. Selection issues. There are some fairly good indicators to as to what and who the issues are. During the week the Brumbies were spruiking that they have the most stable backline in Aussie rugby with only...
