Are they? These two sponsors don't seem too happy. https://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/nrl/nrma-insurance-wants-brisbane-bronco-matt-lodge-to-take-responsibility-for-actions/news-story/0d5b19f0083d826f305ebfb40059c5e8...

    Brumbies 2018

Nah. We should be on the blower to Sam Thomas & TP Luteru and get them training. Pretty sure there must be some other decent hookers in the JiD? Or, should we be asking if the Force will loan us Scoble as cover?

That's tough. Real shame. I really hope he can get back but it will be a lot of work.

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

We are sorry you didn't get a pony for your 10th Birthday but lashing out at all Ponies with your repressed pony hate is a little extreme. If only we had the extra 2 million or so population on top of our less than 400k like all the other franchises

2018 TV ratings and crowd numbers

Crowd was 8112 (IIRC) which is pretty reasonable (and good news) considering the recent Brumbies performances and what was going on @ Lake Curly Gerkhin. About 100K were at Skyfire for their 30th year show (going with the justifying it theme ;)). If the game was in Melbourne the crowd figure...

    Brumbies 2018

What the above is demonstrating is a coach with no clue. He has had access to same players since the season started, the information was available and even the pundits have seen it and been saying wrong selections and game plan. He made poor choices and is not sure about what he is doing. He has...

    Force 2018

LLoyd was very highly rated as a prospect by the CBR Vikings and Brumbies scrum coaches. They had him in the Academy system and got the impression if they had the $$$ and room in the roster he would have been part of the EPS at least.

John I. Dent Cup 2018 - ACT Premier Rugby

Good opportunity for him so I hope he goes well and we see him back in the future.

I actually didn't mind the Jake-ball when that was the clear plan and getting the results. I thinks its also good platform to evolve and develop from. But, there are some critical elements to it including right players and plan and we don't have either atm.

If you apply the same principals: McKellar spent 1 year in the Top League as an assistant before moving to the Brumbies. McKellar is the least successful coach of the Canberra Vikings NRC team (all the others Coaches were the JiD Cup level coaches [Vikings Club] taking the team to 2 wins and...

Hi and welcome to the twilight zone!?:confused:o_O:eek:o_O:p:oops::oops: We are there people -arrival has been confirmed. The ACT Brumbies have conceded it might be time to bring back 'Jake-ball' in a bid to get their Super Rugby season back on track. "We're looking to continue...

Apparently he coached the backs for 3yrs after he finished playing. How that compares to Super Rugby standard could be worlds apart. But giving him the benefit of the doubt we don't know what directions he has been given by McKellar. I have been wondering from the start of the season if he...

    Reds 2018

Yep. Your correct. He was playing the house down but its the standard Brumbies / Larkham selection policy where performance is less a bearing on selection than having a name / reputation and being over 25yrs old (in Aussie rugby apparently according to Larkham, Kafer and Co until your 25 your...

    Reds 2018

Ruan was in the Wallabies conversation based on form just prior to him leaving the Brumbies. He was playing really well. Scrummaging strong and general play really good. Was getting starts finally. A lot of Brumbies supporters were unimpressed when the kept Benny A and offered him a fairly...

    Brumbies 2018

Ah. I was thinking that one may be to due to other commitments (*legitimate) but if its not something for public consumption it suggests its not good. I would hazard a guess its either "personalities" again or its a cost thing - tis a big coaching entourage.

Glad I am not the only one thinking what he is saying seems at odds with whats going on. I genuinely don't think he knows what to do. One thing I trying to find is where the other coaches are at the games. I know Rhino is usually on the sideline / running water but I have only seen Lord Laurie...

    Brumbies 2018

Disagree. Although he has the second most tackle busts so far is season (just ahead of Naisarani) if you drill down in to the rest of his stats then look how he is used / plays it reveals both statistically and reality he would be more suited @13. But his running is less effective them the...
