    Refereeing decisions

Negatory Batman, travel, progression planning, referee coaches, annual leave for "day job" etc etc would all be booked in advance by two weeks at least I reckon. Some of the Super Rugby referee's I've spoken to know pre-season that they will get at least 'x' amount of games during the season...

Hardly likely in my view. Appointments are usually made weeks in advance.

And the way the Tumut Blues are talking up down their chances this season, will we see James Curgenven back with the Lollies once the season kicks off. A one hour drive to training twice a week in cold, wet Tumut may not be the biggest turn on?

Good on him for putting his hand up, he's been an asset to Wagga City for a number of years now and I'm sure will be well supported by the club. Coaching First Grade may not have been his preference for this year but if he's prepared to do it, good on him. Nick Gleeson is a good get for City...

Very committed player - his dedication to training (particularly goal kicking) is second to none. A good guy to boot. Get it. :) Nice one.

John I. Dent Cup 2017 - ACT Premier Rugby

Family links to some key members at Royals will keep him there. I'd be very surprised if he jumped ship. It's actually very surprising to hear that as a rumour.

Without consulting the law book, I would say no. The Referee wants to see players clearly on side and that's not clear for me. I think the GMG reference something about both feet behind the line and in those instances where a player takes a three point start, the hand must be behind the line.

http://www.dailyadvertiser.com.au/story/4544911/coach-switch-as-mitchell-joins-ag-college/?cs=147 Whatever happened to the teacher from Mt Austin? My mail was that Will was focusing on his budding pro-am career peppering the pins and polishing off a few gooners.

They're relegated to Thirsty Thirds. First match an away game to the mighty Hay Cutters, players must hitch hike to get there as there's nothing left in the kitty for travel. A gofundme page has been set up for shorts and socks, they've managed to pick up a set of jerseys from their major...

3rd Grade Draw will be released shortly. There may be some changes to the draw, however the competition will definitely go ahead. Where do you blokes hear this stuff?

    Six Nations 2017

Probably pretty similar to their world cup team I would imagine? They mightn't be able to wear the same gear though.

Tahs, Leeton and CSU played. Reddies played Leeton in the final and went down 40-10 despite two yellow cards to Leeton. Leeton were in their element in 10's, with unlimited subs and heaps of room. They had a handy 7 and a 14 who played well. Reddies were well served by Mitch Fealy and Dean...

John I. Dent Cup 2017 - ACT Premier Rugby

Royals v Harlequins in Albury was a typical trial. Neither team as accurate as I expected but there were a number of changes during 6 x 20min periods. Both were reasonably fit, Royals have some good building blocks there in the front row and a handy 7. Royals young #10 played well early...

An Ag teacher at Mt Austin High, Brad Kent ? Name is probably you wrong, went through WAC as a student with a league background. The only club yet to secure a coach is Griffith I believe.

I can't believe that wasn't the message from the coaches box in that match! Surely as an International Level coach, you're across those things and you have spoken to your team about them. If not, get the message out there to nullify the tactic. A few strong linebreaks would have resolved that...

    Refereeing decisions

It's been a refereeing technique/game management strategy for some time now, the general term is to "let it breath" and create a clear picture about what the maul is. Generally this is to promote the flow of the game, otherwise every man and his dog is looking to kill the maul at every chance...
