#SIRU2017 Round Nine Preview: SIRU Rugby kicks off again this weekend after having two weeks off, while most players will be rejuvenated by the break, there may be some bruised bodies for those players who made Brumbies Provincial. I for one am glad to get back into it again this weekend, it’ll...

Well done to all the players in the Brumbies Provincial Team, congratulations to you all - well deserved reward for your efforts this season. Give the Country guys hell, they may have had more time together but don't back down or be intimidated by that, take your chances when they come, play...

This is the smartest thing you've said since joining the forum in 2013 Paul and points right to the heart of a number of issues with Rugby in Australia. The ARU fund the franchises to deliver Community Rugby, for me our development officers, pathways and programs should all work towards what's...

All the best to the SIRU Rep Team this weekend as they take on a combined FSC/Monaro Rep Team. I imagine that this game will be a fast paced style of footy which should make for a great day in the stands! Kick off is 1300hrs at ANU North Oval on Saturday 10th June...

#SIRU2017 Round 8 Preview: So, we’re into the second half of the season now and are seeing the reflected draw in effect. This round sees a strange turn of events where every team plays someone 2 spots lower than them on the ladder – is it time for tin foil hats? Tough to tip a MOTR this week...

    Southern Inland Rugby 2017

You clearly have no awareness of the history behind the decision to leave NSW Rugby. The zone asks players to nominate for the team, it'd be interesting to see which players nominated vs what was actually picked up. There are always a range of reasons why players aren't available. I think...

Just my 2 cents worth... Not sure where to put the players and I'm really not that familiar with names. Starting halves combination would be Dyer/Chigwidden, Chris Latu starting at hooker, backrow should be pretty accurate. No idea who to put where for the back line. 1 - Nathan...

I believe the game is being played at Uni-Norths Home Ground? SIRU are playing a combined FSC/Monaro Team - only one game. I believe the FSC/Monaro game was on the weekend - not sure of the result. I believe Angus' employer is the physio that works with Royals, which would make sense...

#SIRU Round 7 Preview: The ladder looks a bit odd at this stage of the season based on form I reckon. I don’t think any punter would have tipped Griffith to be winless at this stage of the season and for them to be bottom table with CSU in 7th. Ladder position isn’t overly important at this...

    Unpopular opinion thread

Australian Super Rugby franchises execute the box kick tactic really well. Actually, the aussie Super Rugby franchises kick well in all facets of the game.

#SIRU2017 Round Six Preview: Geez it’s tough to pick a Match of the Round this week, from what I’ve seen of the competition there is genuine potential for movement through the 2nd to 7th ladder positions as clubs jostle for points over the coming weeks. Okay, so maybe 2nd to 7th is an...

I believe the RFL and Farrer league play at Narrandera and Robbo. Group 9 play at Equex. I think Group 9 did go through period where they were playing at other venues but am not 100% on that.

Watch that space. It would be a great day, 2 grounds, at least 4 change rooms, clubhouse with bistro at the ground, VIP seating, gate, full colour video screen scoreboard and foxtel standard lighting. Why not?
