    Wallabies 2021

Watching the Reds game really reinforced to me how dependant we (as in Aussie teams) are on set piece. There were several times where you could BPA and some of the other forwards were talking with the ref about what they had to do to get rewarded in the scrum even when they did not have...

I would suggest tomato sauce as the condiment. Can you send us a pic?:p

    Wallabies 2021

Ikitua is actual quite a talent, but is being hampered by the "white Econovan" attack of the Brumbies of late. Agree with the fullback issue.

    Wallabies 2021

I would guess the lamenting is more sentimental and parochial. Many one-eyed supporter were enamoured with Kerevi and TK until they departed and the backlines adapted and actually improved. I get the size issue, but really what are we looking for? I think the issue here is the argument is based...

    Wallabies 2021

I will bite and add my two'penth. Philip in form is the best running lock we have. Pone must be development. Wells is pure form and will start. Koroibete is obvious. Leota and Kellaway are to test them. To'omua and Naisarani to double check that are beyond their respective best before dates...

    Wallabies 2021

Wells appears to be have been picked on form and justifiably so. Its refreshing to see a player picked on performance rather than myth, persona, reputation or via supporter vote! #justiceforpetaia :p

    Wallabies 2021

Entry point is 6 weeks, good behaviour reduces to about 3, so based on that his entry point is he should be starting at about about 8 weeks if the commissioner is having a good day. :D

No often we disagree BR but the closet Kuridrani should ever get to a Wallabies squad is the front row as a spectator.

    Super Rugby T-T R5: Brumbies v Highlanders

Speaking as one of the few Gen X that still some in here, I can certainly say I wish it was the silent generation in the forums at times!:D For all the good that Stan has done and the changes RA has made with the game, I wish we had more peoples interested in the teams so we had more insights...

    Super Rugby T-T R5: Brumbies v Highlanders

OR, we could just leave it until next TT, Aussie teams wins some games and this conversation will have been a complete waste of time!

    Super Rugby T-T R5: Brumbies v Highlanders

Yeah, I made the same mistake. I was travelling and missed the game and had to check if I had the time/ date right. Pretty sure there is a sook'n'bitch - all the reasons why and why not TT thread elsewhere. Correct me if I am wrong?

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

It it me or is the TT not as comparative as the SRAU (domestic) against the other codes?

    Refereeing decisions

Ah, now this is where it gets murky, and from what I understand (and I am happy to be corrected) the quick tap (restart) provides the opportunity for the TMO intention via a "fair play concept" later down track. It's unfortunate under the circumstances, but consider it like taking the quick...

TT Rd 3: Blues vs ACT Brumbies

I cannot agree with this more. I love him as a player, but as a past player. We looked so much better after he left, we had speed, it was more heads up stuff and unpredictable. I am on record saying that I wasn't a fan of his return and taking him back was a risk that if realised (which I...

TT Rd 3: Blues vs ACT Brumbies

I certainly don't think he is a dud but he does run hot and cold. Unless he is running through trying to break the line is very ineffectual TBH. It was the key change in his game that made ne shift my opinion of him nad i can only hope he doesn't fall back to his lazy past habits.

TT Rd 3: Blues vs ACT Brumbies

I would love them to win but I am not feeling confident. The Chiefs game might be a good indication of how they have regressed. They went in with a forwards orientated game plan, got owned as they are slow and soft but incredibly they couldn't / wouldn't adapt and change plan. The absences of...

TT Rd 3: Blues vs ACT Brumbies

Sadly I think its closer to the mark of where the Brumbies are actually at. Overall, they are slow and passive and I am starting to wonder about the S & C program. I though the amount of injuries were just bad luck but at this point they look like a spent team. Not playing the Kiwis has caused...

    Shute Shield 2021

Personally, I think the Shute pushing for these new rules is in part is an admission and an validation of the argument that we don't have anything at standard to replace what the NRC was. This screams of Shute trying to lift the standard of Shute to try to fill the NRC gap they can see; which...
