    Reds v Force 7pm Sat 29th March, Rd 7

This has been covered. Watch the reply. The mark is outside the 22 Horton ignores the touch judge who clearly points this out to him and steps back inside the 22 to throw the lineout. It was a poor decision - but not by BOK.

    Reds v Force 7pm Sat 29th March, Rd 7

Anyway, that aside great game and very happy to get the result. Lineouts were a dogs breakfast but otherwise very positive performance and handling in the conditions generally pretty good for both sides. Well done to the Force who really stuck it to them physically. Don’t want to get ahead of...

Third choice? Behind who … Werchon? What is that based on? Not want to bag Werchon because he’s nothing to be bagged for - because he’s basically done nothing. Not his fault. He’s the third choice scrum half. But are you rating him better because you read something online somewhere because I’m...

Brumbies v Highlanders Rd 7 Friday 28th Mar @ GIO Stadium 7.35pm AEDT

Really impressed with Ala'alatoa & Slipper this year. They seemed to have wound back the clock.

    Wallabies 2025

Agree. Schmidt isn’t going to bring them in on the basis of what they did 2-3 yrs ago and both have shown in the last 2 yrs that if they aren’t fully fit and in form then picking them on past achievements is a wasted selection.

    Wallabies 2025

No - but that’s Jorge’s job. And Kellaway doesn’t have that pace either. On the other hand Potter isn’t going to bulldoze guys like Daugunu and Pietsch will. The choice between Daugunu/Pietsch and the other options is a choice of styles. Kellaway and Potter will likely get some advantage from...

    Wallabies 2025

Sure but at the time they didn’t have the options they have now plus they didn’t have a core group who are already familiar with the plan and structures. I’m sure Leota is in the mix and no one has put a line through his name or any other player. Schmidt will want to pick the best possible...

    Lions Tour 2025

Aside from Skelton & maybe Kerevi (but only if fit and in form) what other OS player do we want? I don’t think any others would be in the frame. Koroibete was a chance but we have too many good wing options now.

    Force v Drua Round 6

Yes. He was 14 from 14 before yesterday. Unfortunately yesterday he kicked like Donaldson did v the Tahs.

    Force v Drua Round 6

Lynagh - who hadn’t missed a kick at goal this year until yesterday?

I thought HMP replaced him with about 15 to go.

Okay. Fair enough - I can understand why and certainly not going to criticise the decisions of the coaching staff based on yesterday.

    Wallabies 2025

Oh yeah - forgot about him. Fair enough. I expect you can add Robertson in there somewhere too. Yeah, Leota did but I thought Gleeson was better and Gleeson has the advantage of incumbency and having already played in the system. Nice to have a player like Leota putting pressure on though.

    Wallabies 2025

Good list - although a couple on there I’d differ on. I doubt Leota is that high up given all the rugby he has missed and the other options open to Schmidt. In the Australian XV is Ross meaning Tom Ross?? Do you possibly mean Tom Robertson? How long is Jake Gordon out for. Reality is that we...

Highlanders v Reds Sat 22nd March 1:35pm AEST

Did Pakeho end up on the field last night? I know it can be a bit of tokenism- but always nice to see young guys like that get at least some minutes at the end of an important win like that.

Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 22nd March 7:30 PM Allianz

I have to say it’s disappointing to read through this whole thread and see no acknowledgement for the guy who really got the Tahs over the line last night. Tah Man - some of us appreciate the work you do.

    Wallabies 2025

Personally I think he has been clearly our best winger, with Daugunu very good too. And that’s not to bag the others. Guys like Peitsch & Potter have been strong. Kellaway seems to be getting better each game - although that is at 15. At the moment my preferred back 3 would be 11. Daugunu, 15...

Waratahs v Brumbies Sat 22nd March 7:30 PM Allianz

I think it is a compliment to Luke Reimer. I assume the general thought was maintaining possession for 2 minutes was a harder task then getting field position and backing your defence. Personally I think it was an okay decision at the time and they got the bickies so well played.
