    Global Rapid Rugby

The biggest issue is the Japanese season is changing to run during their spring/summer months. It will also be the same time as GRR and Super Rugby, so unless the money dramatically improves to combat the Top League, the talent won’t flow to a different franchise.

    RD 16: Rebels v Tahs

The refereeing was amateur at best tonight. - First try Beale’s pass went around a meter forward - The no yellow card on Rona - At the game I don’t understand which Tahs player could remotely hold the ball up in the driving maul no try - How Cottrell didn’t get a yellow for his challenge on...

    RD 16: Rebels v Tahs

Is the refereeing as ridiculous as it seems at ground level?

    Australian Rugby / RA

I’d like to see it, but who would they play?

    Reds 2020

I think Stewart could be in the To'omua mold tough tackling 12.

    Rebels 2019

I’d say there would be plenty of provisions in the contract, in the circumstance Super Rugby isn’t around or looks drastically different that the professional game can’t be funded like it is now.

    Reds 2019

Michael Jordan Jordan Speith I think we are onto something here. It’s actually not injury but greatness Perhaps change the following names Jordan Phipps, Jordan Hanigan, Etc. Surely would see a World Cup win.

    Rebels 2019

It’s an article with a lot missing from Stephenson. In the Australian article he said Paraphrased - the Rebels have not asked for any assistance - He’s confident of the Rebels up until 2021, end of Super Rugby agreement - Admitted the major sponsor deal didn’t help with it falling apart - said Rebels...

    Rebels 2019

It’s a nothing article. The Brumbies said the same thing last week but because papers and websites like the outrage machine it’s been created to shock. It more displays the shitty rugby journalism that we have in Australia. They are great at not positively supporting the game

    Reds 2020

Reds should be looking at making a play for Ben Gunter. He’s just been notified he’s failed the residency rules for this years World Cup. Apparently he spent time overseas during his Japan period. He’d be the perfect foil as a big no.8, for all the great industrious work the other backrowers do...

    Reds 2020

I keep hearing the Reds have shown interest in Meakes. Perhaps it might be down to if Kerevi stays or not

    Waratahs 2020

Vosayaco I believe will be in the Japanese WC squad. Ben Gunter however, has failed what Japan believed was his residency rules qualification. Apparently he’s been ruled to have spent considerable time away from Japanese rugby in his time. Could really open the door for someone. Oh and the...

    Rebels 2020

Paper saying we have won the battle to get Will Skelton’s signature. Catch is, it won’t be until the Premiership seasons ends in 2021. So basically rules out 2 seasons. Rather strange, but makes he eligible for wallabies. I wonder if this type of thing will become the norm soon.

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

I hope none of you guys are fans of Petaia? Uelese is a talent and a half, even if it’s been 6 hours, not one of those hours he’s looked out of depth. Was brilliant in his Wallabies debut against a nasty SA pack and at u20s World Cup was a clear level about most of his peers. I think the...

    Wallabies 2019 Thread

Was voted Saracens player of the year from his peers. Which when you are European champs and in the domestic final, that’s a hell of a season. The team they beat in Leinster, it basically 50% of the Irish team His conditioning and form is an absolute indictment on the Tahs high performance...

    Rebels 2020

The Fox pod this week stated that Nick White is most likely to end up at the Rebels or Brumbies. Rebels it will come down to if Genia stays. If he does it’ll most likely be the Brumbies.

    RD 16: Rebels v Tahs

Good looking team. Hopefully this rain buggers off by Friday. If we keep Hooper out of the game we should get the biscuits. A win will also mean we could see a few changes for the Crusaders game.

    Reds 2019

I think you’re under valuing the Premiership. It’s 3 times the quality it used to be, and although I believe the Crusaders are the worlds best domestic team, the rest of the competition is as good and in some cases better than what Super Rugby has available these days. The world rankings with...

    Rugby News from unexpected places

Appears Russia has indicated it’s going to look at hosting the 2027 WC. This could be simply a government sanctioned cost analysis and studies to see if its worth formally bidding.
