    Where to for Super Rugby?

Rugby lost the war on setting the narrative a long time ago. Yawnion, rugby is boring, rugby is all kicking and little skill, etc. is a fundamental of the Australian sports fan psyche, it’s to the detriment of our playing numbers, viewers on tv and attendees at grounds. Originally it was the pro...

Reg sometimes I wonder if I am watching the same game as others. He’s been great this season.

Reds really should of won that comfortably. Hegarty obviously kicked at goals poorly but his in game kicking was shocking as well. Played brilliantly in all other areas tho. Reds really needed to do a better job at disrupting the Tahs ruck, but I get what they were trying to do with not...

I’d love to see the +- with Paia’aua been on the field in the last 2yrs

Yeh I don’t think we can point the finger at the ref. As much as I didn’t think we got much out of him or a few things the Bulls got away with, he wasn’t the issue with the Rebels losing.

Erasmus does have a game around the field that would suit hooker. His ball carrying is pretty good, but lacks in the set piece to be a long term pro. I think the Fa’amasuili trial as a back rower needs to stop. His ball carry is dynamic but I think that should be used upfront as a point of...

    RD 14: Rebels v Bulls - Fri 17th @7:45 - AAMI Park

In fairness I don’t think the talent was ever as good as other fans want to make out it is, due to the rhetoric of wanting to dislike the rebels. Yes it’s a fairly decent squad, but they certainly have the least talent in the forwards of all 4 aus teams and it really shows against the SA sides...

Ref was ordinary, the Bulls 12 was constantly offside and a lot of bullshit away from the ruck once the ball was gone, but not the reason the Rebels lost. They were dominated in the contact battle and over played their hand which lead to some poor execution. Fair game to the Bulls, a deserved win

    RD 14: Rebels v Bulls - Fri 17th @7:45 - AAMI Park

The game had a very similar feel the to Tahs loss. In that game we dominated territory in the first half without as much reward as probably deserved, obviously gone in at half time and thought holding the ball for longer periods will generate the points that wasn’t coming. However there was...

At the game one thing stood out to me. Play some friggen territory against Saffa teams. We tried to over play in our half and it turns out a disaster. Their plans revolve around pressure and errors, so take that out of the game by putting emphasis back on them. We are not going to win the...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Yep I’d just use the Super Rugby brands, kick the NRC to to curb. South Africa is kick the Super Rugby teams to the curb and just use the traditional provincial names in the Currie Cup. NZ it’s time to admit defeat that they can’t have a pro Super Rugby competition and a pro/semi-pro NPC, one has to either go or...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Trust me it’s extremely easy to follow. The worlds most popular game has absolutely 0 issues following it, I support a football team in Europe I know exactly when they are playing in the league, champions league, national cup, league cup, etc. and I am a firm believer half the problem is...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I think they seriously need to look at running multiple competitions to keep engagement. I was listening to the NBA commisioner today and he referenced how his sport could improve and pointed to football by having several competitions in the one season, and how it engages fans as they can be...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Trans-Tasman is where it’s at. There is absolutely no way NZ is going to fly over us to resume a competition on an even more reduced content with what would only be 10 teams. Let alone their broadcasters have less content at viewable times to commercialize. We fall over, they fall over and vise...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

MLR comes with little risk for cashed up businessmen. It’s also based on the American model of 1 club towns, unless you’re NYC in a few sports.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

If true and I have no reason not to believe you, I’m going to look at it as a potential catalyst for positive change.

10 points from the Bulls, Sunwolves, Chiefs, and Tahs games (ignoring the Crusaders) should see us in the finals. So big game this week

Isi has a foot injury. Jones has a fractured eye socket. No idea what the severity is of each. This is from the social media team, so good to see they are being transparent.
