Blues Vs Rebels Round 10 @ Eden Park

C'mon, Awklund is a great little spot (to change flights). I think Hagan has been pretty good (apart from when he wasn't watching last week!). He seems to be getting fitter and more used to the pace of the game but it will be interesting to see if he can go for an hour or more.

Blues Vs Rebels Round 10 @ Eden Park

3:15 pm (AEST) at Eden Park, Auckland. Referee: Craig Joubert The Rebels and Blues have played each other four times, each side winning twice at home. The Rebels are on a hot streak having won one in a row. The Blues are coming off the bye but did beat the Shorkies at home in Round 8.

    Rebels 2016

I had no idea who this bloke is, so I googled him. For the benefit of anyone else that's completely ignorant of all things NRL: Played rugby as a school boy in Fiji. 23yo/180cm/93kg Scored 16 tries in 23 games last year 4 tries in 6 games this year Average 160 run metres per game  (is...

Apparently, Hawkins is out with a back injury. Cupboard is nearly bare.

Rebels v Cheetahs, 22 April @ AAMI Park

With that starting team, I'd prefer to see Jonah on the wing and Crawford at Full Back. Not a bad line up though.

    Refereeing decisions

True but, just looking at that one table and just the games where it was a Saffa team at home against a non-Saffa team the penalty differential is 38-64 from six games. Too small a sample to be meaningful but still interesting. Having neutral referees for games between international teams...

Rebels v Cheetahs, 22 April @ AAMI Park

So far, the Cheetahs only have two wins, against the Sunwolves twice. They've had some close games against some good teams though and have three loser's bonus points. I reckon this will be a close one.

    Rebels 2016

Agree. I think Sione deserves another crack after his previous efforts. I wouldn't mind seeing Matsu on the bench either, I'm not really sold on Placid yet.

2nd serious injury for Dom, that's some shitty luck for the bloke.

A Reid, McMahon, Mafi backrow would be pretty short, I think they're all well under 190cm. McMahon would probably be the tallest of them.

    Rebels 2016

Mafi would be a good get for us. The Reds seem to have a pretty big wish list of players, including, but not limited to: Higgers, Genia, Cooper, Houston, Mowen, Mogg and now McMahon. Have they started their world wide search for a coach yet?

    Japan Super Rugby team

That is some serious bullshit, IMHO. I saw at least two other shoulder charges on the weekend that looked as bad as Bond's. One was a penalty and the other was just a stern tongue lashing from Sir. #justiceforbond

Thought they really missed Tusi Pisi. What did you make of the red card to Bond? I thought that was way over the top.
