We also ordered our tickets with our memberships and they arrived about a week ago.

The surface was pretty good last Sunday but still chopped up a bit. I've seen worse at other stadiums though. The Wallabies and Poms are likely to make it look a bit worse than the Rebels' and Force's did.

That is a shame. I think I heard yesterday that it's a calf injury he picked up at training? Slightly surprising then that they've gone for JD at fullback and left Placid on the bench. I'd have thought that Placid would have a lot more time training at full back.

    Another training injury?

TBH, I really didn't rate any of Jones, Inman, Stirzacker or Meehan as realistic chances, even though in some cases there are worse options selected. I am a bit disappointed that one of Timani or Hodge didn't get a look in.

Quite right - I must have skipped over his name somehow - edited my other post. I just don't get why TGC would pick someone like Powell on potential and leave out Hodge. Especially with the current lack of back line depth and, when it's an extended squad anyway.

So, only three four picked in the extended Wallabies squad: Smith, McMahon and Harris - and Chibba!. No room for Jones, Timani, Inman, Stirzacker, Meehan or Australia's top try scorer, Hodge.

We got ours yesterday too. Not our regular seats but nearly as good, just outside the 10m line, eight rows from the fence. Pretty happy :)

Every time I watch an AFL game I'm always thinking about how various ruckmen would go as locks. Obviously a lot of their skills would be transferable - Mike Pike converted from rugby to AFL pretty successfully and Collingwood have that basketball guy, Mason Something. You would think that going...

I'd add Georgina Robinson to that list as well, for entirely different reasons of course.

As much as I loved watching Ella play, I put his opinions in the same basket as Growden and Burke's (anyone remember Growden's four point plan to save Australian rugby?). Ella has previously suggested that the Rebels should play three "home" games a year in Western Sydney. Why don't the...

Jones and Thomson are definitely gone, the other two TBA. There are rumours that Alex Toolis and Amenaki Mafi could be coming in. I wonder if they will have a crack at pinching Coleman from the Force? AFAIK, he is still not contracted for 2017.

    Rebels v Chiefs, Round 13, 21 May 2016

If you're right I totally get it, especially now that our chances of playing finals are just about zero. I would still prefer us to field the best team possible though and see how many games we can win out of these last four.

Great news! Now they just need to find a way to get the ball to him. I reckon he's had about five touches total in the last two weeks.

JD seems to be a confidence player and his confidence seems shot. A few club games, with instructions to go at the line every chance he gets might be a good thing for him. Mikey will do a good job at 10. Hopefully, Ellison comes back in and Hodge moves to 15.

I'd like to see two changes next week: Harris to 10 and SMac to captain. Sent from my SM-N910G using Tapatalk
