I probably, at this stage, say East with Wests and Souths equal. That said need to see East and Wests at this stage, haven't played them. But from the results so far am willing to go with Easts.

Well there the rules new recuit_brissy. Sorry if you think I'm narrow minded, maybe I am. At this age you need to know the basics, is all I'm saying and I don't think they do. The Laws are there to protect players and make the game functional. But there is no excuse for players not getting back...

Early predictions: Easts by 7 (v Bank) Wests by 18 (v GPS) Bond by 15 (v Souths) (see refabit you got me!!) UQ by 38 (v Norths) Come'on Bond!!!

Well of course they have a chance, they are in the competition. However you need more than 4-5 really good footy players to win this. You need 10-12 above average footy players with 4-5 of them to be really good ones, and from I saw on Saturday, Souths aren't quite there. Maybe that will improve...

Red Galloper said: "I have tried staying off the forums but after watching the game of the round today on the reds site I was left ashamed of our great game. There was an incident where the sunnybank #1 knocked out the west #1 with a shoulder charge and elbow to the head. What I have a problem...

Nope HTC I don't think that will be the game of the round. I think you will beat them by at least 15. I think the game of the round will be Easts v Sunnybank. That will give us a better gauge of the lay of the land. I think the only problem for Bond is that they don't appear to travel...

Nah, "one swallow a spring doth make". I will give you that the team was competitive especially with Moseley and Ngamanu (also like the halfback Pita), however in general the forwards skill levels will need more than Farrell. Of the teams Brothers have played thus far Souths would rank third...

Refabit said: Namibia beat The All Blacks? No even more surprising Souths beat Brothers. I dips me lid to ya! So glad we bring you such happiness Refabit. However this week like the rest of us you only got 4/5. However on the points differential HTC won on -33 points, followed by me (-38...

ok Refabit u got 5 out of 5..... This week however I think the margins will be smaller than you think...think u have the right winners ....margins tooooo wide for mine. We will see...

"Sage I think Uni will be the team to watch out for the rest of the season they (I think) have Edwards, Taulima, Hoopert not sure who Horn plays for? etc. coming back from u20's." Happy to Chat, Yesterday at 6:45 PM Report Correct that Hoopert is at Brother's however has not played a game yet...

Red Heavy said: "Kalala went under the knife yesterday for torn labrems in both hips. 6-8 weeks at best. Pretty good chance it will be the season" That's true Red Heavy, my mail (incorrect), was that he had that operation 10 days ago, making the ETP about mid-late June.

No I think Meni is closer than you think to a comeback. Not saying it's next week but about four or so weeks should see him play again.

I think Mosely is back from injury....with K Meni back shortly. Apparently Kalala from my sources is a man mountain at the moment, a dangerous proposition.

I haven't written them off at all NR_Brissy... I know the one's your talking about and agree whole-heartedly. Just hoping we get the "rusty" performance first-up and squeak home. Home advantage as well in my 10 point prediction. Brothers are gathering some injuries so should be close.

Refabit said: Sorry that was a typo. Should have been: Bond uni to teach their northern neighbors how recruitment is done. Thats better. Too funny Refabit.... I think this shows that it's not going to be a season where you can just say....."yeahhh UNI will win.....or it's GPS they'll lose...

Has anyone taken a look at the Sydney Premier Colts forum lately? WOW it's one big argument over the Players Points System they have in place there. It's a system that allocates points for a players experience and representative honours for last years schoolboys (last years Rock Stars as they...

Comment on the week 3 Brother's v Bank game (was away last 15 days). Fairly close affair in the first half, with the Bank dominating the scrum to a degree. From memory (this will be hard) it was 17-12 in favour of Brothers at half time. The second half was dominated by Brother's as the big...

4 out of 4 Refabit, although the margins were a little out. Shows the closeness of the competition and I think there will be a number of upsets going forward. For this week: Bond by 20 (v GPS) Brothers by 10 (v South's) UNI by 10 (v East's, depending on who UNI actually have playing) Bank...

Mine, from a biased perspective: Filth UNI Bond Bank Easts Wests Souths Norths GPS I have no daylight and "no one-legged u9 girls" there either. Think the top five are fairly evenly matched, and more than a few games will be won at the last minute. Reminds me a little of the GPS competition...
