    Rebels 2018

Confirmed in Wessell's presser. Says he wants to keep Dom around the group. Also, David Horwitz is off to Connacht at the end of the season.

Possibly. But, didn't Rabobank start sponsoring the Pro 12 in 2011 as well as the Rebels and some other teams? They ditched their rugby sponsorship in the UK before they withdrew from the Rebels. More likely they just decided that rugby sponsorship wasn't for them.

^ Seriously, shit posts like this, with absolutely nothing funny or clever to say are really getting fucking boring zzzzzzz. I guess you're amused by it?

Super Rugby Round 5, Waratahs vs Rebels - Sunday 18 March @ 4pm

    That's right. It's all about balance :)

Happy to see Mick Snowden get a game. I hope he gets a run.

Super Rugby Round 5, Waratahs vs Rebels - Sunday 18 March @ 4pm

Week before. Bad head knock IIRC.

    Rebels 2018

Great to see another Vic player in line to make a debut.

Super Rugby Round 5, Waratahs vs Rebels - Sunday 18 March @ 4pm

With that big back row it looks like the plan is to bash 'em up for an hour and then bring on Colby and Hardwick. I hope it works :)

Super Rugby Round 5, Waratahs vs Rebels - Sunday 18 March @ 4pm

So, which team has the greater cohesion?

Super Rugby Round 5, Waratahs vs Rebels - Sunday 18 March @ 4pm

I was just responding to the claim that the 'Tah's backline will dominate the Rebels ;) As far as comparing 12s, I think there are some things Hodge does better than Beale and some things Beale does better. The same goes for DHP vs Folau. I don't think it's straightforward that one is better...

Super Rugby Round 5, Waratahs vs Rebels - Sunday 18 March @ 4pm

Not sure if serious? Genia + JD > Gordan + Foley Hodge + English > Beale + Foketi Sefa + Koribete (or Maddocks) > ?? + ?? DHP = Folau (at least pretty close)

    Rebels 2018

^ Some pretty good players among those names, from both teams.

Rebels vs Brumbies, Friday 9 March AAMI Park, 7.30pm

Pretty worried about the line out this week. As soon as one of the locks comes off we will be very short of jumpers. I would have preferred to see Ha'angana, or maybe even Hosea, on the bench.

    The Wallabies Thread

You would think that by June Slipper would be pretty match-fit. He seems to have a bit of a dodgy back though, so there's that.

Rebels vs Brumbies, Friday 9 March AAMI Park, 7.30pm

Just to be clear, I'm not advocating for Maddocks at 10. Just saying it's a possibility now that Marika is back. 13 tries in two games would suggest that our current Stand Off isn't doing too badly :)

    Rebels 2018

In fairness, KRL may well be a lover of Kiwi rugby, rather than a Kiwi that loves rugby ;)

Maybe Maddocks starts at 10 with JD on the bench in case it all goes tits up? I'd prefer to see Koroibete come off the bench though. I wouldn't like to see too many changes - at least until we lose a game. It's a good problem to have, which ever way you slice it.

    Super Rugby Round 3 - Sunwolves v Rebels @Japan

Yep, the match was originally scheduled for 8:00pm in Singapore. You could consider yourself lucky. You could have bought flights to watch the game in Singapore (like some of our members did :p)
