    Where to for Super Rugby?

Don’t like to nit pick but I noticed Castle referring to Super Rugby as “our domestic competition”.... If that’s the way they view it - then they need to address issues of access to viewing, scheduling of games, gaps in the schedule etc - all the things that make this comp hard to truly commit to, and...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I’m not yet ready to call R.I.P. but a continuation of Super Rugby as is, or even with just removing conferences, will consolidate the fall in crowds and viewers we’ve seen. And that detachment by fans will continue to seep into Test viewers and crowds, and also participation numbers.

    Where to for Super Rugby?

I can’t agree with this more!! Not once does Castle talk about lifting viewer and crowd numbers - it’s always just about the f$$king money!

    Where to for Super Rugby?

My take on the article referencing the World League and the delay for finalising Super Rugby/RC, is that there is a chance that IF the revenue sharing from the World League is somewhat equitable it may alleviate the pressure on Super Rugby to be built with only finances in mind. The World League revenue may also...

    Reds 2019

pretty sure its a case of QC (Quade Cooper)'s wage being match - Rebels foot some of the bill and Reds top it up so that QC (Quade Cooper) isnt out of pocket.

    Reds 2019

So how many spots are left for a couple of experienced players?? do the Reds not want any experienced players, can the genuinely not afford any, or is it a case that they can't attract any due to coach/management? either way this team is looking waaayyyy too underdone... remember this is a...

    Reds 2019

Wayne Smith in the Oz says Thorn isn't interested in Gill because he is from an "earlier generation" of Reds and wants to build his own team... talk about cutting of your nose despite your face! Also says McMahon is zero chance of coming home.

    Reds 2019

Just on Gills relationship with the Reds - in the body of his wiki page it doesn't mention the Reds once. its talks about his schoolboy stuff, playing for Lyon and making a wallaby debut. not one comment on his 76 games at the reds. i'm quite surprised by that. it just lists those game in...

It’s a shame Gill is highly unlikely to return - one of my favourite players to watch. Just love him.

    Reds 2019

Thanks Reg. so its the 4 remaining spots and the lack of opportunity to recruit some true skill and experience that has me concerned at this late stage. Besides Higs and CFS- and i guess the Smith twins & Kerevi - we are really green when it comes to experience... Its a real concern for...

    Reds 2019

32... right. so even if we sign all of BPA. Hoopert, Korcyzk, Wright, McDermott, Tela and Petaia to full contracts we still have another 4 full contract spots open plus 5 EPS.... are we struggling to get experienced and quality players to come to the Reds?

    Reds 2019

and i must say that the appointment of McKay and Ryan helps settle the nerves of Thorn Year 2. If that trio can stay together for a few years we might just get somewhere. I would also like to say that Jeff Miller looks to be making some great decisions since his return. (looks to have learnt...

    Reds 2019

anyone else a little concerned that in October we only have 21 confirmed signings (excluding Cooper). the half dozen remaining existing players who might sign are not exactly experience first XV types. only one 10 signed. is it a 30 player squad this year? or 32?
