Super Rugby AU Round 8 - Brumbies vs Waratahs @ Canberra Stadium - Saturday 22 August @ 7.15pm

Newsome needs to do a lot better than that

It is refreshing that this is even a point of discussion rather than which 15 to pair with Korobiete

I hope Petaia doesnt get pigeon holed as 22/23 because of his high level of ability at a number of positions . To be fair I think he is the best 13, probably the best 11/14 and possibly even 15 given DHP injury and Maddocks inconsistency. The kid is something special, and despite his long lay...

State of the Union (origin) discussion

Agree. The old heads would be taking the scrum option every chance they had. The under 23 front row aren't known for their scrummaging. Maybe up the age category a year so Taniela and LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) can swap teams would help even the playing field a little

    Wallabies 2020

Firstly the reference was to a number of posters jumping on the single performance of the Reds towelling up the Force and after one big win suddenly all the Reds backs in the PONI squad are locks for the Wallabies. While I am not comparing the loss of Jordans father to the adversity the Force...

    Wallabies 2020

Let me know where I personally insulted anyone in my post. play the ball not the man. Obviously civil debate is beyond some people. Simple point one game does not a season make.

Easy to get caught up in one game. While the reds were good last night I think it was the worst game from the Force thus far. My concern is they continue on this slide as the season continues due to the step up in quality over a long period and the initial buzz of their involvement wearing off...

While the DT reports While they have not been officially added to the PONI list, Melbourne youngsters Pone Fa’amausili and Trevor Hosea, and Waratahs flyer James Ramm are certainly on Rennie’s radar...

rugbypass.com has good depth of stats on each player. The biggest slight on Ramm is his 68% tackles won. Needs to improve the defence to take on the AB's. https://www.rugbypass.com/super-rugby/teams/waratahs/players/james-ramm/statistics/

Koroibete is the John Eales Medalist and is coming into some good form recently, but I think a move to 10 might still be beyond him ;)

    NSW AAGPS 2020

The majority of boys signed to NRL clubs are being paid while at school. We aren't talking huge sums like Sua'ali'i could earn if he signs the rumoured Souths contract but the majority are being paid. It has no impact on them playing GPS rugby

    Wallabies 2020

Based on form I’d have Wright Koro Daugunu Ramm Obviously Koro will be first selected. Wright defence solid just offers more With all round game and a genuine back 3 player. Both Koro and Daugunu showed instances tonight of a lack of vision and a passing game. IMHO you can carry one of those...

    9. McDermott 10. JOC (James O'Connor) 11. Koroibete 12. To'omua 13. Petaia 14.Wright - Ramm still has some ground to make up on wright who has been a standout all season. Ramm has been good in limited appearances probably still a year away to show some conituned success. I'd still have Daugunu ahead of him also...
