    Wallabies 2020

Definitely not the case for Crichton. Angus played young yabbies as a junior, old man played schoolboys and Randwick. From what I understand the link to the Young Cherrypickers was made up for rugby league purposes.

Super Rugby Rnd 10: Reds v Brumbies 5 Sept

I really hope both teams can find their best performances. Shapes as a cracker.

Super Rugby AU Round 9 - Brumbies, v. Force, Friday 28 August 7:05pm AEST (5:05pm AWST)

Banks having a solid game so far. Nice to see him finding his pre-shutdown form

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Isn't the whole issue that we don't have enough talent to fill 5 competitive super teams? I'd imagine the "leaugies" particularly those with Rugby backgrounds would be cheaper than those plying their trade in Europe or Japan. Love to see the following junior rugby stars back where it started...

    Where to for Super Rugby?

Gutherson and Papenhuyzen both have rugby experience. Gutherson was NSW 1s fullback in 2011. Papenhuyzen went to Oakhill College played ISA rugby.

    Waratahs 2021

That would destroy a super 8 series or TT crossover finals which seems to be a key piece of the broadcast offering

    Waratahs 2021

Tahs need to cut a mil from their cap spend .... Hooper takes a sabbatical for the year.

Super Rugby Au Round 9 - Rebels vs Waratahs, 7:15pm Sat 29th August

I can no longer understand what is going on. I thought Moeroa was strong in his A games pre COVID shutdown and deserved some game time when others were getting some earlier in the season. He didn't and we seemingly moved on. Its now a do or die game this weekend with everything on the line and...

    Wallabies 2020

He did say at the very end of the article "of course there would be the odd exception". I think the front row is an obvious one although Tupou deserves to start on form and meets the criteria. Maddocks also meets the criteria and probably on recent form is ahead of Banks. I would have Hooper for...

    Wallabies 2020

Interesting read by Kafer on picking this years Wallabies without a player over 24 to allow them to grow as unit for next 2 RWC’s. Here is his take on a team Angus Bell (19) over Scott Sio (28) or James Slipper (31) Jordan Uelese (23) or Folau Fainga’a (25) Taniela Tupou (24) and Pone...

    Brumbies 2021

I’d be surprised if the Brums would keep 4 quality wingers. While depth and competition is important it’s hard to balance 4. It also requires decent salary cap to be spent on a 4th choice player.

    Wallabies 2020

Do others think the Tahs players would be disadvantaged at the selection table if they lose this weekend? With a last round bye and no finals they will be 3 weeks without football compared to the two teams in the final.

Yes. Id have both but have them reversed.

    Wallabies 2020

Michael Hooper is locked in but in jersey 20 while L Wright isn't locked in but is in 7?

    Brumbies 2021

I'd imagine he'd want to start every game. He is really third in line at the moment. Could hinge on TK and whether Kata makes the full time move to 13 or ikitau gets the job. Sure the Tahs or Force would be options.

    Wallabies 2020

I think given the first two games are against the ABs then the incumbent vs an uncapped rookie may have more weight than say if the opponent was Fiji etc. I hope the two lads get to have two more good cracks at each other to see who comes out on top. That type of competition is only a good thing.

    Waratahs 2020

Let’s hope they don’t put up the rubbish they did last night next week

    Wallabies 2020

It’s looking like Maddocks will do a Bradbury. DHP was looking the goods until injury. Banks .... I have no idea where the pre COVID Banks has gone. Maddocks has had some great games and gone missing in others although that is an issue with the Tahs team in general. He is young and as others...
