The QLD system hasn't feed a lot of back 3 talent into the Reds recently - not like 9, 12/13, and forwards. Flook, Creighton etc are all helping out but were recruited as midfield or inside backs. even Petaia was a 13. we must be due for cracking good 15 to come through. same for the wings.

yeah these schools offer the full range - afl term 1, union and soccer term 2, league term 3. afl and league have limited teams - basically only an A and B team. whereas with union and soccer they create as many teams as possible from the kids interested. league is only in its third year...
