It is genuinely so funny (not funny) that a Shore supporter uses the rugbyAU moniker given the number of truly dreadful CEO’s Shore has provided to Rugby Au. Oh the irony. Hopefully this latest one does a better job.

Not a bad option but they hope to have Gough back soon as well. I don’t think it is well appreciated how many game breakers are sitting on the sidelines at Joeys.

If only you could get a beer at White Oval.

Gee sensitive. View were lucky to win just like Joeys were lucky to win the after dark game at Lane Cove a few years back. Championship teams absolutely deserve their championships, sometimes they get a little lucky along the way. That’s all part of sport champ. View won, Joeys could have...

Of course you play the whistle, I only raise the incident because it indicates that View were lucky rather than deserved winners. As they say, i’d rather be lucky than good. Joeys forwards had parity generally with View and dominance at the set piece. View backs were a lot better than Joeys in...

Question, if View were so dominant, why didn’t they win by more than 5? The difference came from a try when Joeys had 2 players on the ground requiring treatment. I’m not saying View didn’t deserve their win, in the end the scoreboard told the story. The reality is that this is the tightest...

Forwards seem set? Bold statement. Ghattas plays 2, depending on injuries Massey would be 6 or 7, prior would likely be 1. Fonua will be 5.

Br A will answer that question differently at different times. Beale is on the list, Burke as well, the Kelehers, Issac brothers, Graeme Thompson is definitely amongst the best. I don’t really think he likes to be drawn on the question. There are too many to be definitive.

So Barker would have a really dominant 1st XV in a tier 2 comp. Awesome. You miss the point completely and I might look like an idiot but you in fact are one.

It takes one to know one….. Shore are Progressing pretty well. I reckon they they would win a clear majority of games head to head with barker on any given Saturday. You confuse program (whole of school) with team (1st XV).

Imagine what the score between Barker 15a’s and Joeys 15a’s would be. Blood red or dead I’d guess…. Seriously tier 2. Honestly, get a grip man. Barker does not have a strong or deep rugby program. It

Thank gawd Ronan got the call, 3 meat pies today. Should have been in the squad from the get go. Great player hard to stop and unpleasant being stopped by him (I’m guessing the last part, reckon I’d break if he hit me…)

IDK, is he spending too much time on the wing like Fitzpatrick?

Just watched the replay, the New 15 was very good in attack. He needs to work on defence though but understandable if that was his first game in 15. It was the 10 / 12 combo that caused all the problems, probably aided by the absence of Young who wouldn’t have allowed as much room to run.

As a neutral fan, I was a bit surprised by Kings first try- ball straight through the tunnel, scooped up by the 7 and over. Has that rule changed or was it a blunder by the blind blind side touchy?

Interesting. Is he new this year?

    NSW AAGPS 2023

I’d say Joeys didn’t adjust their tactics fast enough. The ref allowed a generous interpretation of the offside line (both ways). Joeys needed to create momentum in the middle before going wide. It was only after the yellow card / intercept that they started to realise this, perhaps the New...

Across 1’s, 2’s and 16a’s joeys must have the better part of a full team out injured. Quite the contrast to last year where there were almost no missed games.

    1. Prior (Joeys) 2. Ghattas (Joeys) 3. Davenport (Kings) 4. Green (Joeys) 5. Fonua (Kings) 6. / 7 Massey (Joeys) 6./7 ? There is a decent option from Newington but I am unsure of the name. 8. Taumaupau Joeys) 9. Grover (View) 10. Fowler (Joeys) 11. Farah (Kings) 12. Gough (Joeys) 13. Hartman...
