Thanks to force fan I could work out total involvements. Hooper’s work rate was down in the scotland game as it was in the Wales game. Normally he is in the top 2 just behind Pocock. Scotland game involvements of ball carries, tackles and rucks Pocock – 70 (well ahead of anyone) Simmons – 57...

ForceFan - I am impressed by how much work Mumm did at the ruck by your figures.

Carter is one of a long list of players who are good at super rugby and failed to make the step up. He has had plenty of chances and not impressed. Simmons at test level provides more. Speight is another example of not stepping up and is very underwhelming at test level yet very good at...

I know that was said in jest however a lot really think that TN could play in the backrow right now. A lot who also think league forwards can transition quickly. takes more than size. Timani had experience at 6 and 8. He is practised at rucks and mauls, lineouts, scrums. None of which TN is.

se seriously the scot was right over folau as he was going down. The wallbies were to the side and back. No way would they get to him before a turnover or a penalty. The scot did not have to run even 1 metre just bend over and go at the ball, he was ready to do so.

Try logic next time instead of sarcasm and being dismissive. You approach doesn't lead to discussions.

and came close to losing it with his non creative play. The kicking difference between him and QC (Quade Cooper) is not that great when you take into account how foley only kicks short range and not out wide.

Correct decision. He took the best choice available which was a high risk with high reward , a try , if it came off, but better than a certain turnover. http://giphy.com/gifs/3o6ZsUMUxOiKebjmMM?utm_source=iframe&utm_medium=embed&utm_campaign=tag_click

Why don't you look at the video on brian smith's analysis. http://giphy.com/gifs/3o6ZsUMUxOiKebjmMM?utm_source=iframe&utm_medium=embed&utm_campaign=tag_click It clearly shows Folau being tackled from behind at the time AND a scottish jackler right in front of him ready to take the ball so he...

there are a number of people required to stay healthy for the wallabies to win the tests. Pocock, Timani, the 3 locks, Kepu, Sio being the most important. Other positions have sufficient quality backup.

If the wallabies want to win the french test then Douglas , Simmons and Arnold need to be the locks. I dares say these 3 locks need to be the combination for the rest of the tests. Arnold has only started 6 tests all year. If he needs rest then he should be on the bench. Simmons and Douglas...

he only threw 2, also there were would be tacklers in front of him and coming across in cover. If everyone was coming backwards i.e no one in front of him he would of scored a try. The tackler can get up and take the ball from any angle.

Like the situation where he made the hail mary pass. If he took the tackle there was very little chance wallabies would have retained the ball. He made a line break / or beat defenders but more were coming across in cover.

fair enough, I am just curious when people state that they don't believe in nations what that actually means to them in practical terms. BTW no need to try and label me and then cross it out as if it was a joke. That makes it personal and is not needed either.

With Coleman out the only viable option to provide muscle at lock is Douglas. What are the chances he is fit enough and will play as well as he did in the rwc? Honestly Coleman is in the top 3 players the wallabies could least lose because their replacement is so less able to fulfill their...

So you believe in no nation states and thus no borders? So would you be happy with literally millions of middle east refugees coming to australia then? Mind you with no nation states then no need for providing support of any kind since there is no nation to do that.

Thanks that takes care of 8 - Dempsey 22 - Perese (or he could swap with Speight) 23 - Kellaway so that just leaves 2 positions 19 and 20, so not that bad.

    Scotland v Australia 12Nov16 Saturday

Seriously? The tacklers just get up and take the ball, they don't have to go around anywhere, the other scots are already on the right side so just walk over him. There are many instances when Folau makesa break takes the tackle and the wallabies get a turnover due to poor ruck work or they are...
