The "divided" competition was an agenda item on the GPS Headmasters forum a few years back when the "arms race" of GPS had Nudgee, TSS and BCC in the race at full throttle . It would be a tragedy if Qld went down the path of Sydney GPS rugby.

You have to wonder if this sort of "designed dominance" is going to be the undoing of the rugby program in time. Nudgee certainly don't figure as strongly academically.

I am struggling a bit to understand why Souths Prems are "strugglers" and yet the Magpies are at the top of the table in Reggies and Third grade. Seems like there is a problem with "self selection" or grade stacking to win premierships or something else in the senior grades??

It's not what has gone wrong at GPS, it is more how good the UQ Colts were with many of them stepping up and playing their guts out and for each other. Too many big mouths in the GPS teams who were more intent in trying to pick fights and argue with the referees. The disrespect shown on the...

Scored 2 tries and won the game for the Tigers. Timely 3rd grade comeback in an important game for both teams. Smells of side stacking to me.

The disrespect (and that's putting it lightly) being given to our refs by players and coaches has got out of hand in my view across all teams. Quite simply, it has to stop now and the QRU and clubs need to step up and support our officials to ensure we can continue to play the game we all love...
