I think we’ll need to take a hard look at Kerevi, but only if he’s fit. Other than that, it’s Stewart or JOC (James O'Connor). Inside centre is definitely a problem at the moment

We have at times done the short ball between the pigs in the Wales and Georgia games. We need to be a lot better in order to do it against the Bokke rush defence though.

Yes, I have heard/read the same things when it comes to PI players. It's not right.

That's such a pile of shit though - how do you think an international coach orchestrates something like that? Think about it. Saffers are some of the most paranoid trolls in the rugby universe. Pay them no mind.

Yep, as frustrating as it was to watch last night, the boys are giving it everything out there and when they start to play a bit smarter better results will come. They're aiming up and clearly want to get better.

Absolutely right KiwiM. I'd like to see a different midfield rolled out against Argentina. The pigs are working manfully to get at least some ball and we're just not doing anything with it. We've got speed and skill in the outside backs but they're just not seeing the pill at all.

I nearly had a seizure when that happened last night.

We've definitely got a problem at 12 I think. We really lack a combination of crisp passing and penetration (either on the crash or with foot work) in the midfield.

    Fantastic crowd tonight BTW

Wallabies v Springboks, Sat 17th August 2024 Perth

I thought the guys played their guts out tonight but the gap in class was very evident. The Boks were able to pester us at the breakdown and push far enough in the contact zone that the following attack phases had our guys on their heels or flat footed. This is perfect for a rush defence. That...

We’re probably lucky to still be in this but the Bokke haven’t been great either.

This is hard to watch. So many unforced errors.

Massive crowd here even in the conditions. Go boys!

    Western Force 2025

That would be excellent if we can keep him fit

It'll be interesting to see how much we can play our game this weekend, given that the forecast over here is atrocious. It could be a night to keep things a bit tight.

    That's some very stinky bait

They do indeed and they often backfire, as it did in the case of the Crows

It's amazing what people seem to think is acceptable in the name of high performance. It's not just rugby, there was a similar furor over what the Adelaide Crows did in their pre-season camp a few years ago.

That's just bizarre, real Kamp Staaldraad vibes.

I think we'll see Tizzano again on the weekend. Joe seemed to think he gave everything and went pretty well. It's not like we've got any other options who are better anyway. The other question, I guess, is whether the back row balance is best with the same three guys. On the face of it I don't...
