    Wallabies 2024

I think Schmidt has been pretty clear in terms of how he's going to approach selection and I'm OK with it. He seems like a guy who knows how he wants to go about things and more importantly has the runs on the board to back it up.

McReight or AAA for skipper IMHO

Correct. Get the coaches in there to build a winning mindset. I think we have the right leadership to do that.

I wonder if Gatland will make it to the RWC anyway. He's left the job previously and answered the emergency call last year. I don't know that he wants the job long term. None of that makes any difference to us. We need to win these games, not only to build momentum, but also to get the public...

It was perfect for me last night

I'm going to enjoy his downfall so much

Don't disagree with that, TT. I would have had Rodda under serious consideration for a gold jumper had he not decided to bail, however.

Wonder if he'll be in the frame for the Tahs job?

    South Africa v Wales - 11.00pm AEST 22nd Jun

Watched it live last night. I thought early on the Boks were going to blow Wales out of the water and they would have had they been a bit more accurate. The Boks swift, flat ball movement to the edges opened up space that can fully be taken advantage of if you have enough speed out wide. We'll...

Super Rugby Final 2024. Blues v Chiefs, June 22.

He's really developed in the last couple of seasons. Immaculate in the final I thought.

Super Rugby Final 2024. Blues v Chiefs, June 22.

Congrats to all the Blues fans on here, championship well deserved. Unfortunately I lost interest as a neutral at about 60 minutes, but that shouldn't detract from how good the Blues were tonight. They just dominated.

    Sucked in Eddie

    That would be cromulent.

Ordinarily I would barrack for Japan but the fact they have that flog coaching them makes it very difficult.

One of the big problems last year was the non-existent game plan and lack of expertise and experience in the coaching group. I’m quietly confident that we’ll be better this year

    That's an interesting idea

I thought KB (Kurtley Beale) was excellent for us this year. He looked sharper than I've seen him in a while.

Schmidt came across very well in that interview. As Cyclo says he knows his onions.

I'm starting to come to the same view. The Wallabies are still our premium product and if we can't select our best players we can't perform at our best.

    Waratahs 2025

Hoops was a jet from day one I reckon. Getting Cheik back wouldn't be the worst idea. We still need to be developing more coaches though - we can't keep bringing up the same names every year.
