Hockings AND LSL (Lukhan Salakaia-Loto) - would actually be a great combo

Hopefully they can try again for a lock with a style we actually need, with some go forward - or get Lukhan back now Brad is bye bye

Article read said HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) did a number on him.

If Tupou CAN'T go - then HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes) goes. Do well at THP and can play LHP. If Bell CAN'T go - then Robertson goes. Ok LHP and can squeeze THP at a pinch against minnows. Slipper, Bell, Ala'alatoa, Pone, HJH (Harry Johnson-Holmes)

Ahhhh ok didn't notice Faingaas - yeh must be a choice.

    Force vs Drua 12/5 Perth

Maybe he declared for fiji officially in the off chance of being considered for the WC? If he finishes the Super Rugby season well as a regular starter it couuuuullllddd be a chance - though they have Nathan Hughes back in frame as well. Born and raised in Australia but yeh..interesting. On a side...

Part of why they went to 33 I imagine. Though you can replace a permanently injured player. Most teams took 5 when it was 31.

    Wallabies 2023

It only MIGHT go to 14 backs if you carry the 6th prop (which some may) But usually that means going 4 locks and 5 backrowers, with one of them being a lock/6 hybrid - like a mostert, dutoit, kremer, holloway - it doesn't usually shorten the back squad. You'd never carry a 5th lock or 7th...

I think Arnold will be there. Philip and Rodda will only have to play a bit to keep out Swain.

HB: Mcdermott, Gordon, White FH: Quade, Foley, Gordon C: Foketi, Kerevi, Ikitau, Hodge OB: MarkyMark, Koroibete, Kellaway, Wright, Petaia That could be the back contingent (Foketi v Paisami). You could keep both, or include a Paisami, Perese or Jorgenson if Hodge acts as the 3rd 10.

2 full locks is not that common. Mostert was the SA player and he was absolutely considered a blindside aswell Without mucking up your starting team or the rest of them (only locks and br) res. 16. Lonergan 17. Slipper 18. Tupou 19. Arnold 20. Leota 21. Gleeson Hopefulyl Swain won't be near...

    Wallabies 2023

I think it's easy to forget that in the last squad, it was Mcreight that Samu kept out. If Mcreight is in, and with the rise of Gleeson - I can see Samu being squeezed which is a shame. But they can't afford to carry Hoops, Samu, Gleeson and Mcreight in 4/6 spots. Not enough range there. IMO...

    Wallabies 2023

Eddie said he was taking 3 10s. But I think the 3rd has to be able to play somewhere else. Like a To'omua or JOC (James O'Connor). I'm sure he would have liked Donaldson to do better and be able to cover 15. Most likely in this squad, Hodge. However could still be Quade, Foley and Gordon - but seems like a...

    Wallabies 2023

It will be interesting. Wright is the form 15 atm, Kellaway has moved there for the run home and in Eddies camp leadership group, and Petaia has moved there and fits Eddies comments about a power game. Eddie had Banks in on the action - so the others will all need to play well and at least 1...

    Wallabies 2023

Waiting to see if Rodda comes good, but Frost has a big head start and Eddie likes Ritchie. Need the big locks with a smaller starting front row. With the mobility in the 2nd and back row coming on to balance the big dog finisher front rowers. Skelton doesn't offer the running game off the bench...

    Wallabies 2023

Seems necessary. They were allowed to offer extra $ as RA couldn't top up (or top up much) Frees Lonergan to start so our best 4 halfbacks are all starting in different franchises which is nice.

Leota is an interesting one I agree, but Eddie likes his islanders bulldozers! Rodda and ESPECIALLY philip have a lot of work to do, especially if Eddie has his eyes on Arnold and Skelton who IMO are better. Throw in Frost and DEFINITELY one of them is missing out.
