    Brumbies 2024

I rate Reimer highly. Has had a genuine impact on a number of games as a replacement. He well and truly deserves a shot in the starting XV. Wallaby jersey certainly not out of his reach

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

I rated Johnny's chat highly. a genuinely fascinating mind to get a look inside of. I have started listening to his own podcast after that KOKO episode. I agree that the super intense work ethic of Johnny is a glaring contrast to the likes of Drew who appears to be the complete opposite. It was...

Super Rugby Trial Round 2 - Force V Brumbies 10 February 5pm WST

No stream is bullocks, although I'm pretty sure this game will actually be played concurrently to the Tahs Reds trial so might just have to watch that one instead

He was in Brumbies gear at Viking Park on Saturday night. Looks like he could be doing some consulting work with them

    Brumbies 2024

Went out to Viking Park and made a few observations (despite standing on the hill behind the posts for most and being able to see FA). -Charlie Cale the number 8 seems like a good prospect. Some genuine ball running ability. Not about to usurp Bobby V, but a great prospect. -The sun was shining...

I would love to see Laurie Fisher coaxed out of retirement. He was one of many that got dudded by the peanut that coached the Wallabies last year and deserves more time at the top.

Any talk of a merger needs to be binned ASAP. It is not in any way a feasible option. You might as well just cut both teams because that's what you will be doing to the supporter base. No diehard Brumbies fan is getting around an ACT-Melbourne Hybrid.

Wales are not a bad start for him. Definitely more beatable than the Boks at altitude hand grenade EJ (Eddie Jones) copped.

This is an unreal result for Australia, probably a better outcome than we deserve based on our treatment of coaches over the last decade and general administrative incompetence. For the first time since the Wales WC game I feel a small tinge of excitement about Australian Rugby in 2024!

    Can't be a serious comment

    Wallabies 2024

I absolutely love it from Gits. The man just loves the game. Could do much worse than having him around the Wallabies or Aus Super Rugby sides coaching set up in years to come.

Being consistently competitive over three decades is success. As Brumby Runner said, winning titles can't be the only currency because only the Crusaders seem to be able to do it. Any talk of a Brumbies-Rebels merger needs to be shut down asap. If the Rebels go, don't alienate a second fan base...

    Australian Rugby / RA

I agree that it's peak rugby, but I think that its a good thing. Rugby hanging onto a bit of nationalism and tribalism by having top teams largely made of up people from the nation they are representing will stop the sport turning into a meaningless game of mercenaries coaching/playing for...

If they had announced It at the end of the season we could already have referees calibrated and ready to go to club trainings to explain it to players and coaches. between World Rugby and Rugby Australia, we are talking about two of the most incompetent organisations going around. Therecis a...

Im sorry but the timing of this is completely insane. Does Rugby Australia seriously think that the few months between now and trial games next year is enough time to calibrate referees and players as well as clear up the ample amount of questions. Tackle below the sternum sounds good in...

    Broadcast options for Australian Rugby

Its surprising how much peoples opinions vary on commentators. I think Justin Harrison is good to go - knowledgeable about the game, can talk and passionate Australian without it bleeding into bias. Drew on Stan was alright, but to be honest all the stories on the GBRA podcast about how he...

    Brumbies 2024

I cant help but wonder what contingency planning is happening at the Brumbies with Larkham's name being thrown into the ring as Wallabies Coach. Who would jump in to coach the ACT boys who are already into their pre season cycle? As much as I with the best for Bernie, I seriously hope he isn't...

Very generous assessment of the Beasts there

    Wallabies 2023

I think that this 'running rugby' idea has actually contributed to the decline of the game in Australia. I remember in the late 2000's, when rugby had a larger public footprint than it does now, there was consistent criticism of Australian teams winning ugly. I am talking 07-08 around the time...

    Wallabies 2023

I think having uniformity of playing style across teams is dangerous territory. From a spectator point of view, one the great things about rugby is watching teams of contrasting styles compete. watching teams that attack and defend with the same concepts at Super Rugby, Club, Schoolboy level...
