Saturday Tips Scots by 25 - the boys will be back on Saturday. Joeys by 15 - a tough encounter closer than a 15 point margin reflects. Kings by 10 - on paper should be by more but Shore will rally and fight to the end. Ladder Tips 1= Scots 1= Joeys 3 Kings 4 Riverview 5 Newington 6 Shore A...

Nothing unusual. He is coming back from injury Quick Hands. He was originally scheduled for a lighter run but stepped up when there were late injuries. He will be a force again this year. Even lacking match fitness he made his presence felt.

Girdler stepped in to play second row for the injured McCauley. He is coming back from injury but still had a great game. Lacked a bit of match fitness but he is a big strong boy and will be a force again this year.

Well as a Scots supporter I'm far from relaxed. Kings were simply better on the day. Better prepared, better organised and played with greater intensity and passion. They thoroughly deserved the win. Scots were found wanting in a number of areas. There is a lack of size in the front row...

Ah James...a diehard Riverview fan I imagine. The final table reads Scots 10 wins Riverview 7 wins Joeys 4 wins and a draw Newington 4 wins Shore 2 wins and a draw Kings 2 wins I think that is a pretty fair reflection of the season. Scots had big wins over...

Slightly confused Greg........Do you not enjoy the free flowing 'attack from anywhere' style of rugby they play? Personally I think it's a breathe of fresh air to see a team attack from anywhere and everywhere. Some of the earlier matches in the dry were the best schoolboy rugby I've ever seen...

Couldn't agree more Dummy Runner. I was on the half way line and there was a group of recent old boys jeering loudly and aggressively whenever Scots dropped the ball. Very unnecessary and not at all in the spirit of the game. The behaviour of the current Newington students was exemplary. Strange...

Scots by 30 if dry. Newington's game style suits Scots. The Newington pack is big and strong but Scots should hold their own there. The Newington backs are vulnerable to the fast attacking game played by Scots. With rain the difference might be closer to 10. Shore by 6. The Shore backs were...

What a lot of cobblers! Are you a one eyed Shore supporter per chance? The referee was absolutely fine. If anything I thought he was very lenient in allowing Shore to slow the game so frequently with numerous injuries whenever Scots seemed to get some momentum. Best keep your ill informed...

I believe this was a very poor attempt at humour, parody. try the link below from the film Taken. Not sure if you picked this Mr Moderator.

Big accusation to make from the video evidence 'Whose that guy' Very hard to be sure from the distant grainy partially blocked footage that a bite took place. Has Stagemen confirmed that he was bitten? May add some substance to the claim.

Another aspect of the View vs Scots game that we could do without is the deliberate slowing down of play when a penalty is awarded against you. View were particularly guilty of this running backwards still holding the ball and then throwing it down to bounce away from the Scots playing trying...

I was at Lane Cove yesterday and saw a compelling game of rugby. From the kick off Riverview played with passion and intensity and were the first team this year to have a clear and successful game plan for shutting down the Scots machine. The Riverview backs and loose forwards were brilliant in...
