Argentina v Australia TRC Round 4 Sunday 8 September 5am (AEST)

But how does that help us with rugby? Those Olympic and Commonwealth stats are skewed big time by swimming, by the way. You think "we can make it happen if we want to" but there has been little evidence of that for a long time.

He has a licence to be funny. Someone else does the "killing". I'm not sure what you do that is anything better than pretty piss-poor trolling.

    Australian Rugby / RA

Yeah, I just don't see the financial upside being so great that 6N stalwarts would want it. If member unions are struggling financially now, the cash injection would need to be pretty large. Are extra SA TV numbers gonna do that? Dunno. I think existing 6N teams' fans are not suddenly going to...

How do SA bring a lot of money to the table?

    Australian Rugby / RA

I'd be surprised if the 6N teams want to add them. They'll bitch and moan about travelling to SA for games etc... Not to mention reducing the chances of winning the thing.

Fuck, we must be going well when the big point of contention is "who plays on the other wing?'.

Agree, we need to build combos and familiarity; we can't chop and change. It's not like we have the luxury of playing an almost 2nd string team, like the Bokke and (to a degree) NZ, because we are not better than many teams!

    Wallabies 2024

Next thing we'll have a video of the Bokke sweeping out the sheds after a Test to re-affirm their outrageous humility. It's one thing for Batshit Rassie to talk nonsense, but not sure that having players doing it too is a great path to go down.

I think a special shout out to Carlo Tizzano (should be Carlos, The Jackal, amirite?) for taking an opportunity with McReight's absence. For a guy that was deemed too small by many pundits, he has aimed up superbly and done all that was expected and more in these Tests. Cracking game last night.

    Mind-boggling stupidity there.

    Argentina v Australia, 8am Sunday 1 Sep (AEST) - TRC Round 3

This. Stark contrast to how the AB and Bok forwards go about things; also Argentina - always spinning out of contact, getting the extra few metres and front-foot ball.

They really have no idea in this facet. Just awful.

Had to check my settings were not on slow-mo. Wallabies look turgid.
