2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Shiggins somehow I am more confused at your attempt to navigate the madness than the madness itself.

The Omega Speedmaster was the watch worn on the Apollo 13 voyage. As part of this famously dangerous voyage, the astronauts had to perform a 14 second fuel burn to allow them to successfully and safely reenter the atmosphere. To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the occasion, Omega issued a...

Honestly I really hope the ref made his dinner booking and got his Szechuan Chili Chicken and Special Fried Rice order in before the kitchen closed. Otherwise this would've been all for nothing. Eat well Raynal like the King you are.

Referee: "Alright chaps, stoppage is over. Time on". Foley: "Ok, well considering you just had time off for 30 seconds our forwards are now having a chat as this is the most crucial moment in the game and they want to be aligned on general strategy. I'll just wait 5 seconds for them to -"...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Rugby is a weird one -- given the amount of grey areas in the laws, and the fact that many of them can't be policed literally without ruining the game (e.g. ruck laws), refs could perhaps use a framework of "What will the reaction be if I don't make this call?" For instance, if he didn't...

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

I personally didn’t even realise time was back on. Perhaps the ref could’ve made more of a fucking scene about it before decided to hand the Bledisloe cup to the team that was behind on the score board?

2022 Bledisloe Cup. Wallabies vs All Blacks

Truly fucking weird. In any other sport - Eg the UFC, which is fantastically run - the ref would just call time off and say “oi, hurry up”. to essentially award the game to the other team because he thinks Foley has maybe taken 5 seconds longer than he should shows a complete arbirtariness in...

FFS Marika. We do something good, we do something dumb.

Someone's gota do it. I’m not sure if the ref takes into account whether Swaine is a dog or not when assessing the fact he delivered a flying shoulder to someone’s knee, entering a ruck illegally from the side of a ruck when the other team was in a try scoring opportunity.

Ikitau really needed to secure that ball instead of standing at the back to be the acting halfback. First time I’ve ever criticised something that he’s done.

The ABs are shakey when they’re vulnerable atm. Play in their half when the game is in the balance and the game is ours.

Wallabies v Springboks - Adelaide Oval, Sat 27th August, 2022

Re Arnold — it seems very clear to me that Philip is the standout performer in the second row at the Wallaby level for the last two years but he seems to the one who keeps getting dropped and moved? why? Am I alone in thinking this?

Fluffed the clean out - something that should just be mindless muscle memory. I wonder how much the extra mental load of being a Dad is having on Tupou. I think it’s best if the Wallabies coaching staff give him some time off to freshen up and get his mindset right before the RWC - he SHOULD...

Dismal how much would you pay to see Faf and White locked in an Octagon for five 5 minute rounds? And who’s the betting favourite?

People don’t say this enough so here goes - Len Ikitau is one of the most important players in this team. I don’t think he’s ever made a mistake, and he consistently does the 1%ers brilliantly. He’s not spoken about enough.
