Funny they were yelling and pointing to touch before he blew the whistle then
Mate do you just wait till I post to disagree with me... I can't even say the stands don't look sold out with out you commenting... I know you don't like me cos I support the Brumbies.. but Jesus..

I watched it after it looked more like they saw him blow it and went off.

How about be consistent? How many times in other games have we tried to play on quickly from the mark and they "nah just hold up a few"

I 100% agree. That's the annoying part for me. This was certainly a big moment to start policing time-wasting.

Ref should of walked up to Foley and said time on, kick it right now or I will penalise you. Close enough to Foley with the loudness of the crowd so that there was no opportunity to misinterpret the gravity of the Ref's intention and the consequences for in-action.
This, except time should never have been called off as disrupted the play. Terrible game management for a paid professional. If you want to time out the kicker should just give a 10 second warning then count down, slowly, so you get them to stop mucking around and kick and don’t back yourself into a corner. Refs face after game showed he knew he blew it. Hopefully he misses RWC selection as was all over the shop at ruck and inconsistent with high impact decisions like Lomax non YC.

Shame we lost but again papered over AB cracks. In particular I haven’t seen such poor exits as the ABs tonight since Wallabies nadir under Cheka. Long may Foster continue!

Honestly I really hope the ref made his dinner booking and got his Szechuan Chili Chicken and Special Fried Rice order in before the kitchen closed.

Otherwise this would've been all for nothing.

Eat well Raynal like the King you are.

Imagine if this happened in NZ against the ABs… they would be baying for blood.
Also the submarine thing, don’t forget the new govt paid them out $90mil

Well 39 seconds is now the benchmark. If any penalties are allowed longer World rugby will need to front up again

This clown made it all about himself, and ruined the ending to a really good game. I hope he’s fucking proud

Well rugby Australia got the seat cushions back thanks to the ref.

I like you. And you’re the one who disagreed with a comment I made?

Go back and watch and the backs are clearly yelling and pointing before whistle was blown. BR agrees

Correct. Watch Len Ikitau - he knew what was in the ref's mind and was charging at Foley imploring him to kick the pill. On Foley's shoulders alone, that one.

I am livid with that call about the kick

BUT

the ref obviously said something because Kellaway and Foketi were screaming at him to kick the ball
The ref said "10" the players said kick it. Foley shaped to kick and the ref blew the whistle. All within about 8 seconds

The Omega Speedmaster was the watch worn on the Apollo 13 voyage. As part of this famously dangerous voyage, the astronauts had to perform a 14 second fuel burn to allow them to successfully and safely reenter the atmosphere.

To commemorate the 45th anniversary of the occasion, Omega issued a limited edition watch that had 'What could you do in 14 seconds?' written along the circumference of the watch, in homage to the sheer precision of the live-saving feat that the astronauts accomplished - under immense pressure - in such a time frame.

Perhaps we could get Raynal one of these commemorative watches.

On the other hand, perhaps we should not. After all, we already have the answer: explosively and comprehensively eject a torrent of piping hot liquid turd all over an incredible game of test match rugby football.

I think "10" in this instance was referring to Foley, not 10 seconds.
I know this. All I'm saying is that was the only so called warning. Meanwhile look at the difference between richerya penalty kick and Foley's.
